Reposted on: 22.10.11 1719.47 | So, I watched I Heart Huckabees last night at my local moviehouse. Going in, I couldn't adequately describe what the film was going to be about...and even after having SEEN it, I can't. It's an odd film, filled with mind-bogglingly large amounts of jargon, philosophical mumbo-jumbo, and occasional doses of hilarity. The ensemble casting is all well-done, but the main flaw that will drive the less patient filmgoers out. The film is slow. Very slow. When you can't figure out what the main plot is after an hour, you're in dangerous territory.
Did I like the film? I think so. It was interesting at times, and the hilarity of some of the scenes carries the film. On the other hand, I don't think I'd recommend the film to anybody. It was a frustrating experience. | Promote this thread! |             | odessasteps
