Last week, Moore made a speech to a U. of Cal. audience on his "Slacker Uprising" tour. C-SPAN was among the media outlets approved to shoot the event in its entirety. Yet 15 minutes after the event began, Moore had C-SPAN tossed out, citing poor health.
But after the C-SPAN crews were gone, Moore unveiled exclusive, not-seen-in-theatres footage from Fahrenheit 9-11, which is slated to be part of a big election-cycle PPV special presentation of the film.
Mike, that ain't the way to play ball. If you're gonna show off never-before-seen footage, you don't embargo one specific media outlet from seeing it, while freely letting others check it out. That's bullsh*t...as well as dumb. There's no such thing as bad publicity.
Oh, wait, we forgot...Moore thinks money-making is EVIL.

I don't think they're refusing to air the film. The original plan was to have a Michael Moore special where he'd bash Bush or eat a gallon of ice cream without a spoon or whatever the hell they were going to do in addition to showing the movie for ten bucks.
