There's a lot of possibility in Barlow, Griffiths, Suggs, McGahee and Tatum Bell but not too many points. So my plan is to trade away Peyton Manning in exchange for a top running back. Manning is my highest-paid player so he can only be traded for another team's high man.
Another team wants to get peyton and has dangled Ahman Green and tom brady. Salaries dictate that to do this deal, I have to offer manning and barlow. What do you think of this deal? I don't concern myself so much with losing manning if i get brady on top of david carr, whose on my bench. I just don't know about Green and his fumbles vs. any potential from Barlow.

I drafted both Culpepper and Manning in my fantasy league. I had no running game but was able to trade Manning and players for Moss and players. My running game may be mediocre but the rest of the team is solid and someone can be used for trade bait as the deadline approaches. | StaggerLee

Ahman Green's not gonna have problems all season, although if their defense doesn't pick it up their running game may not be allowed to be much of a factor. I've got both Brady and Manning in (one of) the W league, and week to week they've been comparable...if you take the extremes of Peyton vs. the Pack and Brady vs. the Dolphins out of the equation. I'd take the trade, because not one of your RBs looks to be worthwhile.
Has anyone grabbed Droughns yet in your league? His 190 yards last week should have him in Quentin Griffin's spot until he does something to lose it. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
