Hey, Man, He-Man's Back!

Produced and Directed by John Woo, no less. Just a gut feeling that there's nine-ways of suck about to made if this picture gets completed...

This is sweet. It can't be any worse than the 1987 movie starring Dolph Lundgren.

As bad as the Masters of the Universe movie was, I will still watch it anytime it comes on. I love He-Man asw much as the next guy, although I don't think John Woo was the best pick (at least tell I see the movie) but still glad the movie itself is being made.

So can we look forwards to He-Man taking out Beastman in slow motion while a dozen doves take off in the foreground?

This has to be laughably bad, and I'm starting to doubt Woo's sanity (as well as his directing skills).

This is going to suck, as much as anything has ever sucked in the history of sucking.

What was the last GOOD John Woo movie?

Pray that the "LIVE ACTION" Transformers never comes to being.

Live Action Version of the Movie

Though I'll probably end up still watching it just like Masters of the Universe I catch it when it's on.

Was there a headline on Fark? No plagiarism here, I promise.

EDIT: There was, dang. Well, I guess it's the well-known fact that the man loves his doves...

I liked it better when it was called "The Bourne Identity."

Then what would be the point.

I wonder if She-Ra will make a cameo?

Sounds like NHS wants Lita to be in a film so she not in WWE messing with darling Trish.
Mis-directed Woo? any John Woo film. As homer Simpson mite say.....
I love that show as a kid it was great I used to want to be Adam. I wonder what thy'll make of Castle Greyskull and the other great settings.

Any casting ideas around?

I'll survive if I never see this. But, if it gets made, I'll be peeking in to see who plays Teela. One of the biggest disappointments of my pre-teen life was seeing a rather ordinary Teela in the Dolf Lundgren flick. Whoever played Teela was cute...but didn't have the stripper caboose of her cartoon counterpart.
