We're just south of the epicenter and the quakes (there were two about 30 seconds apart) were'nt much to speak of here. No damage, destruction or death, but the power did go out in a few areas. Ever have a big, loaded semi drive by real fast? it was about like that. Nothing compared with trying to reason with hurricane season.

Yes, I felt that. It was very soft and swaying--no real shock at all. DH said he didn't feel anything, so I thought I was getting dizzy, and sat down with my head between my knees.
