Five-inch buns, Texas toast, Moon Pies...
Anyway, the "experts" are saying the products aren't going anywhere. Interstate got here because of debt. Somebody with actual cash flow would love to control these brands.

Hell, considering how WWE searches always end up here, as Our Beloved Dictator has pointed out before, you just know they'll rip that off for Rocky's next guest appearance on RAW. | JoshMann

The Moon Pie HAS in fact been named-dropped in a WWF/E promo before, just not in the context you're all pointing it towards.
It was the Piper's Pit in 86 or 87 where Piper inquired to Kamala/Kamala's Handlers if the moon on his belly indicated the number of Moon Pies he had eaten that day.
Needless to say, this was the post-face turn neutered version of Piper's Pit. | OMEGA

I di tend to enjoy the yelly cupcakes though, so I might need to head off to the Wonder Bread store just in case.

| #11 Posted on 4.10.04 0824.23 Reposted on: 4.10.11 0824.23 | I remember the summer after I graduated high school ('97), a Hostess Outlet Store opened not too far from my place. It was AMAZING. They shipped all the stuff there that was getting close to expiration (yeah, like Hostess twinkies/cupcakes/etc ever go bad) and sold it for less than half the regular price.
My friend worked at a hobby shop next door to it where all he did was sit out in the parking lot overnight so people wouldn't steal the model trains on display outside. I'd go up there in the middle of the night once in a while and hang out with him, and he'd always have a huge cache of stuff from the Hostess store.
Needless to say, that summer was amazing. I feel the urge to go see if that place is still there. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
