Then Coach/GM Wally Buono got unceremoniously tossed by the team's owner, and things have been downhill ever since. This season the Stamps were riding a six-game losing streak (and were 2-11 overall). The B.C. Lions were the exact opposite. The team was middling at best until Wally Buono arrived and turned the team around. Heading into tonight's game they were 9-3 and riding an eight-game winning streak.
And tonight, the Stamps won a friggin' game 22-21. Against a much, much better team. They're still terrible (as 3-11 will testify to), but there's a flicker of hope. With the NHL in a lockout and the Flames extinguished for a while, hope is all we'll have for a bit. | Promote this thread! | | Net Hack Slasher

One thing The Stamps have in there corner is a very good defense all year round. But your offense is non-existent. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
