"Get Fuzzy" is one of my daily reads. It is a very smart, funny comic that is quite entertaining every day. He had a great series where he made fun of Pittsburgh, then proceeded to do a "Apologies to Pittsburgh" week that ended with Bucky Katt wearing a LeBron James Cavaliers jersey and Satchel Pooch wearing a Browns cap.

Suffice to say, Rob (the main guy) had a nervous breakdown last season after the Sox collapse against Bucky's beloved "Yankers". Looks like this'll be another fun go-round this year!

I knew somebody smarter than me could put it up!

Anyhow, my girlfriend found the GET FUZZY book "Groovatutde: the Get Fuzzy Treasury"
At Walden Books and we both laughed like morons! Had to buy it and all the other ones we could find. Having a Shar Pei mix of our own, we feel a special place for Satchel.

Having a dopey dog of my own, I have a special place for Satchel. This is easily one of the best strips my local rag runs. I can't get anyone else in my family to read it though.

I got a daily "Get Fuzzy" desk calendar for Christmas this year. Having no experience with the strip, and having no "Far Side" this year, I decided to give it a try. It's consistently funny and clever.

Of course, they did a strip this year about the cousin losing his leg in Iraq, and it got attacked like mad in some of the more conservative parts of my area (i.e. anywhere off campus), but, thankfully, it's back, and the controversey seems to be forgotten.
