Before I even post the link:

-- The Dem supporters should have known better than to take a sign from a three-year-old. Multiple signs at that.

-- The Repub dad has no common sense bringing along a three-year-old if his only means was to protest and cause a stir. Some might think it was a great PR ploy; I think it was careless on the father's end.

That said, here's the story on the 'Rally Ruckus.'

First of all, the story, because the link has some bizarre error going on up there.

Ah, but look here...

(image removed)

The incident in question, Parlock and daughter in the center - the asshole in the [some random union] FOR KERRY shirt smirking and holding pieces of the sign he destroyed on the left.

(image removed)

Here we see the disturbingly extended Parlock family. Notice his sons over on the right - specifically the guy in the blue shirt. Man, he looks familiar.

Fact is, this guy makes a habit of getting kicked out of democratic campaign stops to wallow in the outrage, and he just thought of a way to kick the sympathy factor up a notch this year. Just like damn near everything else these days, this whole story is Grade A All-American bullshit.

If you are still in the mood for outrage, however, these cases of felony assault on protesters at the GOP convention are legit.

Is that the little girls' father holding her up? Because if so why doesn't he just deck the punk?

Because, as OFB just showed, it's his son.

Still doesn't Parlock any more of an idiot, whether if he was a Dem or a Rep.

It has not been confirmed by anyone that it was the man's son, and it's insane to think that you could tell from those two pictures. The father laughed about the question, saying that his son would have been recognized by everyone there. The union represented on the person's shirt is conducting an investigation, but in the meantime has issued an apology to the family.

Nobody is wearing the white hat here. I think it was absolutely classless what the Kerry supporters did. But at the same time, it's why I don't go to Steelers games decked out in Ravens gear, too.

The union has identified their member in the picture. And the little girl got a new sign and an autographed picture in the mail from Bush.

First off it's not cool & really lame to rip the kids sign... But man is this dad a real piece of crap, parents like these really get to me. I can't stand parents who put their ideologies onto their kids. It's one thing to take them to a pro rally, but to use her as a pawn or even worse a shield as you try to stir stuff up. Can you be any lower in the fatherhood standards then that. Let the kid be a kid, take her to Baskin Robins and keep her away from your idiotic political stances (either side).

This clown makes Anarchist rebels look classy, at least they don't hide behind pre-schoolers. Seeing guys like this reassures me why I'm pro gay adoption/marriage. This jerk just proves just because you can procreate doesn't make you any more of a man or credible as a father... Okay I'm glad I ranted that out, like I said, dad's like this is a real issue with me lol.
