Washington (-3) over NY Giants This is almost a gimme, seeing that the Giants home field "advantage" will likely turn hostile if Kurt Warner struggles in the first half. Which he will. Because he's Kurt Warner. Portis will probably be held to about 100 yards and only one TD, but if the Skins are up by 14 or more going into the final quarter, we may see Eli swimming upstream again, slamming the door on any comeback. Lock of the week.
Green Bay (-8 1/2) over Chicago You could give them 15 points and I'd still take the pack here. Green is a flat-out stud who is seemingly overshadowed by another running back every single year. Well, Monday I think he just laid notice that he will be THE back this year. I expect him to break out into the Bears weak secondary a few times, getting some huge gains and at least one breakaway td. As for the Bears O, ugh. Grossman, fighting for the game, throws into double coverage for the int last week. Not just double coverage, but they were on him like fat on Big Show.
Monday Night: Philly v Minnesota OVER 48 1/2 points There's no "D" in Minnesota. None. Brian Westbrook should have a field day stomping a hole through the Vikings D-Line. I'm also almost at the point where I figure you can pencil Terrell in for two score every single game. Eagles will throw up a 28 spot EASY. From there, all you need is the Vikings to put up 21, and with Culpepper and Moss on that team, I'll be betting with them.
UPSET SPECIAL: Arizona (+8) over New England The heat here in Tempe will kill you. Don't believe me? Ask the Green Bay Packers, victims of last year to a much worse off Cardinal unit. I figure Emmitt Smith has one more game of usefulness in him before the decline starts anew, and Larry Fitzgerald should keep the game relatively close. Meanwhile, the Patriots had some really bizarre play-calling going on last week and had to relay on some dumb luck to win. As long as Arizona focuses on controlling Corey Dillon as much as possible, I think that this is a three point game.

Hope you didn't bet your house on these picks, Shane. Then again, I was a solid 6 out of 15 for this weekend's games, so let's just pray for a Philly win tonight to at least put me close to .500, and move on to Week 3.
