Here's something to think over.
Now, tonight will be the last weekly PPV before they move to the monthly ones in November. Which just leaves them with Impact (their version of Raw or SD) and X-Plosion (their Velocity/Heat).
Impact was pretty decent the first several weeks but then it basically turned into "WWF Superstars": One important 6-7 minute match and a whole bunch of squashes. Now they're going to have to since they need to build up towards the November PPV, Victory Road.
Personally, I'd like for them to change their set slightly (keep the tunnel thing though); drop the time limits since these guys should be able to go more than 10; and most importantly, develop the characters a little better via interviews or promos and give the fans a reason to cheer or boo them. Especially the X-Division guys.
Just my take. Any other suggestions from fellow TNA viewers on what they should do with Impact?

Well yeah, that show definitely needs another half hour to an hour. I mean especially since they are no longer having the weekly PPV's anymore. I think one hour isn't long enough for a wrestling promotion's main weekly program, which I suppose Impact is now.
Also go back to the classic 4-sided ring. Not sure what others here think about the six-sided ring, but...I just don't like it.

I like the six sided ring and I've heard that its actually one of the best bumps you can take. As for the format changes, I've heard a lot of talk that they are going to be moving to FX or at least changing to two hours to help promote the shows. Yes Impact is currently squash matches follewed by a good main event, but that's about the only way to get as many of their stars on their as possible.

The way to get stars on is to not have them on?
I've pretty much stopped watching Impact. I don't like the constant squash matches, the show clearly plays second fiddle to the PPVs (as it should), yet they barely mention what happened at the previous PPV, much less show clips from it, and I'm pretty tired of the circle of nonsense that is this Rhodes/Russo feud. It's a shame, as I was extremely excited about it at first, as I like more of the names involved with TNA, but the show just doesn't do anything for me.
I guess expanding the time slot or something to that effect would be an improvement, and the end of the weekly PPVs probably means an end to useless squashes, but I still have my doubts.

I've been a major critic of the move towards monthly PPVs, especially with only the hourlong Impact to promote it. I don't think everyone can get sufficient exposure on the one hour show, and the shitty time slot isn't going to attract new fans. I'm also concerned about the construction of a glass ceiling now that they are pursuing the WWE business plan.

They should think about going back to a regular ring/ What makes this ring so innovative? Seems like their bucking tradition just to be different. Maybe have a few longer (15 min+) matches, but they should keep a time limit. And of course, less squashes.

I agree with Big Steve. TNA tries too hard to be differenr. Some of their X division guys have talent. They don't really have too many legit big guys to challenge for the NWA title. Big guys in the sense of agile skilled guys that are bigger than the X division group. To paraphrase a quote from the idiotic Kevin Nash, TNA has too many "vanilla midgets" in programs surrounding the NWA title.

The 6 sided ring was fresh for a while, but now it just looks awkward, maybe it's just me.
I'm glad they're gonna start using Impact more as a flagship, instead of running like old school WCW Sat. Night, when all of the company's name talent would wrestle Jobber A,B, or C, and have one main event.
Jarrett needs to be wrestling matches that actually run longer than 1:30, hell, if he went 2:30-3:00 on Impact I'd be happy.
And I don't know how much time they'll really need. With no longer having a weekly PPV to plug, they can use the large amounts of time that they would have used promoting the upcoming PPV, to throw a couple of more matches in. Cut a majority of those, and reduce the AJ Styles don't try this at home spot to twice a show, and they'd free up a good portion of time.
