Here's the card according to Impact:

* Erik Watts, Sonny Siaki and Desire v. Abyss, Alex Shelley and Goldylocks
* TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: The Naturals (c) vs. America's Most Wanted
* TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP: Triple X vs. The Winner of AMW/Naturals
* Dusty Rhodes vs. Scott D'Amore - Special Guest Ref Vince Russo, Dusty leaves TNA if he loses
* "FINAL SHOWDOWN" DOUBLE TABLES MATCH: AJ Styles vs. Kid Kash
* WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: Jeff Jarrett (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

Outside of the tag title matches and the Styles/Kash match - this card looks somewhat underwhelming. Plus, it's a tad depressing to know that the "Biggest Match in TNA History" is Jeff Jarrett vs. Jeff Hardy.
Hopefully, they got a ton of surprises in store and we'll get another classic promo from Monty Brown. Period.

Isn't there also supposed to be some sort of X-division competition with "6 tag teams"? I mean I remember seeing something like that on the ticker for Impact yesterday.

And whatever happened to that Jarrett/Hogan feud?

I hope JJ has no problems this Wed. considering the rumors of paraphernalia being found in his luggage. Maybe Jeff Hardy slipped it in there . I kid, I'm sorry.

Outside the tag matches and the Styles match it's underwhelming? Well that is HALF the show. It's not like the WWE is churning out shows where over half is that great. It is sad that Jarrett and Hardy is the main event, but oh well, just turn it off, after the Styles match and pretend like Jarrett/Hardy never happened.

Why is it that when someone "bashes" TNA, the common response from TNA defenders/fans/apologists (I am not calling you any, mind you - I am seriously asking) is "Well WWE isn't much better!" How does that make TNA worthwhile? Saying something else sucks is not a defense of something that sucks.

Pay $10 to see a show and turn off the main event? That's a little silly.

Well as an avid TNA fan I have to say that this is top to bottom one of the better lineups of the last six months. You look at all the matches and they all have been built up really well even if they don't look like they will deliver. The six man tag should be kept short and should be decent. The two tag matches should be good if they let Triple X win the belts at the end. I hate to say it but Dusty and Russo have been cutting some great promos (along with 3LK) and the match should be a good 10 minutes of non stop sports entertainment.

I think if you have been watching any TNA recently you wouldn't be pumped up to see Kash lose yet again to AJ as he has like well every time they have wrestled. And on top of that none of the matches have been anything but brawls in the crowd. As for the main event I thought the end of the PPV on Wednesday was basically the only thing good about the build for the match. I don't think Jarrett is the type of guy to carry anyone to a match let alone Jeff Hardy at this point. Lets just say I figure at least 10 run ins during the match ala Jarrett V Raven and I really cant call who's going to win it.

You would think they would want to give the supper push to Brown at this point but neither Brown V Jarrett or Brown V Hardy (as we saw a few weeks ago) would really set the world on fire for the first Sunday PPV. And I agree Scott what kind of excuse is "WWE SUXS MORE MAN". What TNA really needs to do is get some big names signed up for the first Sunday PPV charge only $15 and just have a blow away card from top to bottom and hope some people get hooked. Sign up Hogan job him on the to Brown and make a star. People have been saying that TNA wouldn't last well it is still around despite all logic and some really bad decisions. If the PPV flops whats left after that to try? This is really a last ditch effort to start making some money because at some point Panda Energy is going to pull the plug on the whole project if things don't turn the corner.

You realize what you posted here, right? I'm pretty sure even if the money was right, Hogan would not be coming in to lose to a non star like Monty Brown. And I'm saying that as an Alpha Male and Hogan fan. It would probably be a great boost for Monty, but lets be serious here.

Last time you'll have to pay 10 bucks a week to see quality matches from TNA...thankfully they're starting to use Impact! as more than a PPV hype show with a couple of jobber matches here and there. I've been able to TiVo this every Friday, and like some of what I see, but I don't think I've seen a Jarrett match yet go over 1:30. Give the guy more time. Then again, not having a weekly PPV will give Impact about another 20 minutes of airtime that they won't be using to plug the PPVs.

I got to admit that I will probably buy this last card because of wanting to support this move and TNA. I haven't bought a PPV in some time, but since I have the night off, why not?

Just don't give the belt to Hardy! I'll take Triple J over Jeffy any day and twice on Sunday.

This could be a decent line-up. You have to remember that they didn't know that this would be thier last weekly PPV until I guess a month ago. They really didn't have time to build up a blow away show or lineup. But even then, I what does Dusty bring to the product that wouldn't be brought by someone else. I don't think that having him is like having another old guy like Hogan or Sting (i.e. one ho still has relevance). Dusty's best years are 10-15 years removed, at least. He doesn't need to be wrestling. But anyway.....

SInce no one else posted the results ;):

X Division Tag Team Elimination: Mikey Batts & Jerelle Clark d. Team Canada (Johnny Devine & Petey Williams), Shark Boy & D-Ray 3000, Delirious & Sonjay Dutt, Michael Shane & Frankie Kazarian, The Amazing Red & Chris Sabin

Erik Watts, Sonny Siaki & Desire d. Alex Shelley, Abyss & Goldylocks
- Abyss turns face (apparently) and gives Goldy the Sit-Out Torture Rack ("Shock Treatment"?).

Final Showdown: Tables Match: AJ Styles d. Kid Kash (again)
- How can you call this a "rivalry" when Kash lost every single match? I know he's in the doghouse but damn.

Dusty Rhodes d. Scott D'Amore

Tag Titles: Chris Harris & Elix Skipper d. The Naturals
- James Storm couldn't work b/c of his back injury. The Naturals jump Triple X in the back and Christopher Daniels couldn't work. So Larry Z creates the team with the healthy members. Oy.

World Title: Jeff Jarrett d. Jeff Hardy
- El Kabong on the back of the head, run-ins by Dusty and Russo, and just an overbooked , sloppy mess of a match.
- This is one of those few times I wish they stuck a third guy in the match and had HIM win the belt. (i/e the Big Show at Survivor Series '99)

Or even better, Mike Awesome in the Taz vs Masato Tanaka match (Taz's "last" ECW match). I agree, totally. Although, the weakness TNA has right now is that they've sorta hotshotted the title around too much between Jarrett, Styles, Raven, and Killings. Monte Brown can't and won't do anything for TNA right now as a main eventer. As much as I dislike him as a wrestler, this is where it helps to build a guy like Sonny Siaki. Why is he a face anyway?? Siaki could have benefitted greatly a month ago by turning heel on Styles or even D-Ray. The X-Division no longer knows if it's a division for cruisers or if it's just a secondary title to the World Championship, and that's a major problem. On the bright side, at least S.E.X. has been gone for good for a long time now.

Raven never won the belt and the weakness they have is Jeff Jarrett, period.

Raven never won the belt, despite the fact that he was the obvious #1 guy they had for a long time. Yet, politics reared it's ugly head.

Well, the show was quite the faces winning big most of the night (ie Summerslam 91). It was pretty predictable, but sometimes predictable is correct. I called the tag team match participants as soon as Daniels went down. We all knew that Abyss would make the final turn on Goldylocks on this show. And we all knew that a Rhodes/D'Amore match would suck.

I just wish the main event wouldn't have been the worst match on the show. I did like having the main level guys come out for the main event.

I loved the Monte Brown promo, although I haven't seen that much of a Rock impersonation since Commissioner Smoke in GLOOW.

Overall, it was a good show, and I didn't mind spending the money on it. The show needs more Lollipop though.

I thought the show was weak. I was really looking forward to the two Tag Title matches, and the bait-and-switch (unavoidable though it may have been) left me in a foul mood.

I totally agree with Torchslasher -- I called the tag thing, too -- and I also agree about the main event. Tired as I am of JJ, Hardy continues to look like shit, so I guess the result worked for me. The Championship title scene has almost always done nothing for me, over the entire history of TNA (with the brief exception of Raven's attempts at it, when I thought he might actually get it, and some of Styles's reign). I guess that's a pretty bad sign.

Tiny nitpick, Kawshen -- Abyss used a backbreaker, not the Shock Treatment, on Goldy.

And, hey -- does anyone know anything about Delirious? This is the first I've seen of him, he just dropped in out of nowhere, and Tenay was not forthcoming with information. Anyone?

Anyway. I bought every TNA PPV (barring comp shows) and even have them all on tape. So, you know, I'll miss having it on Wednesdays. On the other hand, my wallet won't mind the break. I wonder what Victory Road will go for...

Delirious works for IWA Mid-South, ROH and NWA Wildside and plenty of midwest feds as well. He's from the Gateway crew in St. Louis. Pretty good wrestler, very, very entertaining when he's allowed to do his whole schtick. Had a hell of a funny match with Jimmy Jacobs at the last IWA show. They're doing a ladder match on TPI weekend, too. I've seen him against Petey, Sabin, Lynn and Styles on IWA shows for TNA references, and all of the matches went okay. The one with Styles was the best, the one with Sabin the worst because they just didn't click that much.

He's actually very good on the mat, better there than he is flying really. The schtick is the selling point with him, though. Either you find it funny or you don't, but I don't see what's NOT funny about a guy that yells out "Mr. Belvedere" in the middle of a match for no good reason. He's very into the character of being insane and quite good at it since he works comedy into it instead of trying to be a badass at 180 pounds.

He's worked Xplosion tapings frequently before so this at least must mean someone in TNA management likes him.
