I got a little upset at spyware that kept redirecting my browswer on my laptop and punched the screen, which I have done before. Unfortunately, this time the screen cracked and is broken. I have an older laptop which quit on me. It is a Gateway while this is a compaq. Is it possible to swap screens? It would make sense that they remove because well, I'm sure this isn't the first time this has happened.
I unscrewed both laptops but cannot get them to seperate from their bases. I really didn't feel like forcing them. I guess I'll stop by a monitor store tomorrow or Circuit City.
God damnit thsi shit is pissing me off. It keeps fucking with my browser. It sends my IE pages to Search Results and tells me I have spyware. Well no shit. Any company that advertises on spyware should by boycotted.

If I upgraded my Alienware scren FROM 19" Widescreen TO 17" Fullscreen, it would have been like an extra $700.
That didn't make any sense to me, and by looking at that link, it appears to be the standard price for a LCD. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
