ESPN Radio says Ricky had two conditions for a possible reunion w/ the Fish: a contract readjustment (read: more $$$) and a different offensive coordinator. They also said Miami just might do the deal, rather than risk some other NFL team picking him up once he's eligible (insert You put your weed in there! joke here)

Although it's also worth noting that even if the Dolphins agree to Ricky's demands, most likely he still would get most or all of this season off because of the drug tests he's already flunked. And somehow I don't see the NFL accepting his "I didn't take my False Negative Juice on purpose" defense as a way out of the suspension.

| #4 Posted on 26.8.04 1325.12 Reposted on: 26.8.11 1325.17 | It's been speculated that Ricky could appeal the fourth drug test ruling, and that he'd be allowed back after a four game suspension. To me, though, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense as it would go against the entire purpose of counting retirment as a fourth test, especially with #2 and #3 coming out right before he quit.
Far be it for me to generalize about the laziness of potheads, but is it possible this whole thing was just a scam to get out of having to go to training camp? | Mayhem
