Why the hell would anyone sell him their movie rights? Did they not see the reviews or the pitiful box office of "House of the Dead"? I know they didn't actually see the movie - no one sane did.

It took three days of scrubbing with steel wool to clean the filth from the images of House of the Dead. And then came the rubbing alcohol. My retinas never felt better. | Aldo D 2112

You haven't seen any movie directed by Albert Pyun, have you? That would change your views, heh. | KaneRobot

Now, see, I thought the game was based on the Japanese novel/subsequent movie. Could be wrong though...
And I didn't want to have to bring this up, but Double Dragon, that was a great movie FOR ME TO POOP ON! Directed by... James Yukich, hmmm methinks avoids his crap as well. For it is mighily so. | bubblesthechimp

I see your Double Dragon and raise you Super Mario brothers. Crap in its purest form; dark, stinky and runny. | The Vile1

Well there you go, the best you can say about a video game movie was that it "wasn't too bad." That's hardly high praise. Tomb Raider was a gigantic piece of shit and it got lucky with the amount of money it made. A lot of people were interested so they saw it, but it wasn't popular, note the failure of the equally God awful sequel, Tomb Raider 2. | Iago

I know, even more a tragedy considering there were some decent actors were in it: Hopper, Hoskins, Leguizamo. Still I was mildly entertained by the Mario movie, mildly. I wasn't by the Double Dragon movie, but they are pretty much the same level. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
