Perhaps thats where they got the idea to have Kane star in a horror movie.
And Tom is right, these posters are something anyone one of us can do in Photoshop.
But I still say the JBL Poster is great.

Yeah, the eyebrows kind of remind me of Vince.
And just because I'm bored, lemme see if I can come up with the wrestlers featured on PPV posters for the past few months (and upcoming ones, for that matter)...
Armageddon 03: HHH Royal Rumble: Cena No Way Out: Eddie Wrestlemania XX: None Backlash: Benoit Judgment Day: Undertaker Bad Blood: Edge GAB: Torrie Vengeance: Orton Summerslam: Various wrestlers Unforgiven: Kane No Mercy: JBL Taboo Tuesday: HHH
So it's (kinda) come full circle since last December. | dMr

I seem to remember WCW doing that on old Saturday Nights in the early-90's.
Sure, it sound's like a shitty plan. But it's the best I can come up with!
I was thinking of something far more mundane when I read it. A simple option to select camera angles or certain backstage interviews via the power of the webcast or some such.
The 'Vote for a Match' thing seems unhlikely, but I guess it could spark interest and generate a few PPV's so you may very well be right. | Peregrine

| #25 Posted on 19.8.04 1445.22 Reposted on: 19.8.11 1445.34 | I was thinking of something along lines of "Fans Pick The Gimmick To Said Match" Match. Make it just be the ME or certain matches on the cards. Say, have a pool of a few gimmicks per each match, and the fans get to vote for which ones they want to see. For example, if Y2J and Edge are feuding then, the gimmicks could be A) Cage Match B) Ladder Match C) First Blood D) Last Man Standing [or something] and the gimmick that gets the most votes will become the gimmick of said match. It could take longer to plan out the event if every match is like that, but a few here and there might be pretty cool, really.
"Taboo Tuesday" might be a bunch of experiments in one. First - Can we put a PPV on a tuesday? Second - Can we get people to vote for the gimmick they want?
The Gimmick-voting thing could potentially become a pretty good draw. Good talk around water coolers as well: "Hey, what match are you voting for?" "Ladder, it would be sick." "I don't know, I think I want a cage match."
Then again, this sounds like a good idea to me, so I doubt WWE would do this. | Destrucity

That was a fun name, and they could have done a lot of wrestlecrap with that PPV to appeal to the younger fans who have been diminishing as a % of the total audience.
Along with Starrcade, Halloween Havoc was my favorite WCW PPV name. Sure the name has some cheesy factor to it, but I liked it. At least thinking back during the year Halloween Havoc = October... I agree with SC all these new names are so generic I have to really think hard trying to remember when is Judgement Day, Vengeance or Unforgiven. GABash isn't my favorite name but at least you know it's a middle of summer event around 4th of July. Give me a Havoc or a Starrcade any day, but they can keep the hog/roadwild far away. WCW actually did a pretty decent job with their names (until they got all stupid with the deadly sins during the end). With the exception of a few most of WCW PPV's names worked well.
As for the "interactive PPV" I get scary flashbacks of WCW Uncensored PPV. Yes we need another King Of The Road Match which was performed from Dustin Rhodes and Blacktop Bully (yes that Blacktop Bully lol) in the back of some horse shipping truck that's moving. "Buh Gawd he powerbombed him on hay. He powerbombed him on HAY"... Lets not even get into Jim Duggan vs. Meng in a Martial Arts Match. I can't remember the name of last months PPV but I remember in great detail a WCW Uncensored PPV from about 10 years ago, lol. Nothing a major promotion could put out as bad as that was. | King Of Crap
