Why is it tasteless? Why would you want to be ripped off by the markup at a funeral home taking advantage of you in a time of greiving?

My father has always been very insistant over the years that he wanted to be cremated and not buried, so unless they're also going to be using one of the furnaces in the back, this doesn't help me much, even if I DO have a Costo membership. :)

1. Wouldn't it look wierd to have a coffin display next to the soda or bulk pasta?

2. Suppose you buy a coffin at Costco. Do you strap it to the top of your car and take it home to store non-perishables?

Maybe they expect big sales to goth kids in their early 20's who would rather a coffin bed than a real bed but it just seems wierd to be shopping at Costco for a coffin.
