I'm wondering how Widro managed to convince so many 411 writers to jump ship. Hyatte, Keith, Eric S, Flea, etc I can understand, but almost eveyrone from Games and Comics as well??? I don't believe there was ever an explanation from anyone besides a few saying "Widro is my friend."

I'm guessing he told them that the big guns were leaving and they assumed that they'd bring the hits so upped and left. Plus they've already said that they were swayed by insidepulse's apparent lack of emphasis on wrestling (i.e. they put it lower on the main page than music and games).

Everyone at Insidepulse.com switched sites because Widro was leaving 411mania.com, and felt more loyal to the person they'd been dealing with than the site itself. Those that weren't loyal to Widro himself were loyal to the others that left 411, so they came along, despite what Evocator may think.

The movie section was specifically left alone because that's Ashish's baby, so-to-speak. Coming in September to IP.com, the launch of the TV & Movie sections, with an amazing array of weekly celebrity columnists! I'd also like to mention the soon to appear 411movies Top 100 list. It'll be seen as a seminal work for the site, I bet.

1. Are you on InsidePulse's marketing payroll? Three of your last three posts have been "all about the product."

2. "Coming in September to IP.com, the launch of the TV & Movie sections, with an amazing array of weekly celebrity columnists!"
This is irony, right?

3. "I'd also like to mention the soon to appear 411movies Top 100 list. It'll be seen as a seminal work for the site, I bet."
Damning with faint praise has never looked so cruel.

I'm merely offering answers to the questions posed by others in the thread.

Cast members of the various reality shows will be doing columns, so it really all depends on your views of reality TV. If you like reality TV, then there's no irony implied. If you don't, there is.

I don't know how calling something a seminal work can be considered faint praise. Really, it's the only thing I know will be coming to 411. I've seen all the work that's been done with the Top 100 list, and am actually looking forward to seeing how it comes out.

Not sure where the hostility is coming from.

edit: Everyone should check out Stixx's column over at 411, it's a great read, and not just because he disagrees with AB

I HATE and I stress hate 411. I clicked there to read the Summerslam recap and on the front page they have main event conclusion. I would have found out if I read the report. But fuck sticks on 411 had to shoot their wad on just blow it for me. I will never go back there. Insidepulse has the better recap anyway. I just needed to vent....
