I don't know about that. Shane's been gone since Survivor Series, so it's possible. | Lotty

I have been reading in various places that the WWF is getting ready to unveil their new logo. As a result of the lawsuit with the World Wildlife Fund, the WWF might no longer be the WWF, hence her return. | dMp

And they did it in the best way possible. Play the the Internet crowd who said she has too much power and too big a mouth.
I for one will sort of miss her, at times she was annoying but the Steph character itself was well worked out and was supposed to be that damn annoying.
Let's hope she can concentrate on the booking and see what happens.
Oh, as for the name change, I thought that was just about breach of contract about the site and stuff? i might be wrong..but thats for another thread. | Evil Buddha

| #13 Posted on 26.3.02 1214.05 Reposted on: 26.3.09 1214.51 | I think she is going away for a good while. I'm not going to say forever, because forever is a very long time. But I think it could be a lengthy period.
As far as everyone saying that she was already suppose to be gone, I don't think that was the case. The stips match that sent her packing was the WWF/Alliance match. That just simply stated that the alliance would no longer exist if they lost. It was only because Steph was the owner of ECW, and with the end of that company, no longer had a job that Steph was kicked out. But nothing was stated how permanent that would be. As we have seen, many former alliance members got jobs back within the WWF since that match. Steph was HHH's manager, and was forgiven by her dad, so she got her job back. I never heard any promises that Steph was never coming back, so I knew it was just a matter of time, so it didn't surprise me when she did return. But this time there is at least the stip that specifically states that Steph is banned from the WWF. Now stips like that usually don't last forever in wrestling, but they can last a while. So I don't see her coming back anytime soon. | Spaceman Spiff

| #15 Posted on 26.3.02 1328.04 Reposted on: 26.3.09 1329.11 | The match was definitely worded so that Steph was gone from the WWF, not just Raw or SmackDown. Word on the grapevine is that she's taking time off to devote herself to writing both shows(NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!) and won't be back on TV for quite some time. So enjoy while it lasts. I say they should've turned Taker face before she left by having him do that windpipe-crushing dealie on her. That would have been SWEET. Oh well, I'll settle for her vanishing for a while. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
