Some fun quotes from the book's co-author, Jerome R. Corsi:

Let's get the less suprising stuff out of the way first of all. Not only is he violently anti-Islam:
"Let's see exactly why it isn't the case that Islam is a worthless, dangerous Satanic religion? Where's the proof to the contrary? ... RAGHEADS are Boy-Bumpers as clearly as they are Women-Haters -- it all goes together."

But he's also come out as pro-genocide:
"Islam is like a virus -- it affects the mind -- maybe even better as an analogy -- it is a cancer that destroys the body it infects... No doctor would hesitate to eliminate cancer cells from the body."

But he's not one to discriminate - he's also anti-Catholic:
"Maybe while he's there he can tell the UN what he's going to do about the sexual crimes committed by "priests" in his "Church" during his tenure. Or, maybe that's the connection -- boy buggering in both Islam and Catholicism is okay with the Pope as long as it isn't reported by the liberal press."

AND anti-Semetic:
"After he married TerRAHsa, didn't John Kerry begin practicing Judiasm? He also has paternal gradparents that were Jewish. What religion is John Kerry?"

Of course, he hates Bill Clinton:
"When is this guy going to admit he's simply an anti-American communist? Won't he and his leftist wife simply go away???? Enough already."

And his wife, who generally refers to as either Hellery or FAT HOG:
"Mullah Ali'Gore-ah is very proud of his new Bin Laden beard and he hopes others in the Democratic Party will follow his lead. Hell-ary is disappointed she cannot grow a beard, but her press secretary reminds us she can still enroll in flight school. ... Anybody ask why HELLary couldn't keep BJ Bill satisfied? Not lesbo or anything, is she?

But it takes a special kind of far-right cumstain to go after their daughter. Jerome Corsi is that kind of far-right cumstain:
"Did the Journalist see Chubbie Chelsea among the wives. Little Katie Communist [Katie Couric] on the NBC Today show interviewed Hillary this morning and mom is worried sick about Chelsea. She was last seen in Kandahar at a Starbucks. But now, as Little Katie Communist sighed, "Who Knows?" Even British disinformation planted reports such as this grocery crap will be useful. Anyone with information about Chubbie Chelsea's whereabouts should post it now. Mom wants to know her daughter is out of harms way. Mom also wants to be at the center of the story."

Yes, your new hero is a good old crazy bastard:
"Too bad the plane didn't crash into the TV set of the NBC show "THE LEFT WING" -- especially when Martin Sheen was "acting."

He's Ann Coulter with a smaller dick. I wholeheartedly endorse anyone this hatemongering childish bigot feels is "unfit to command".

Hey... nothing he said there was anti-semitic, OFB. To paraphrase Joel Duffman, of the Newsly Times, "What's with the smear campaign?"

Even if Corsi's nuts (and he sure seems nuts), someone ought to question Kerry on Vietnam. He claims the Republicans have wrapped themselves in the flag; what I see is Kerry wrapping himself in the flag, esp. his Vietnam service, and woe to anyone who dares mention it. The guy basically threw every other soldier under the bus. These men were spit on when they came home, literally and figuratively, and John Kerry more or less encouraged it. Except, when it stopped being politically convenient, he issued some vague retractions.

My problem is this: John Kerry more or less maligned every Vietnam veteran in America for his political gain. This is why I have no problem whatsoever with these ads, and I think McCain ought to just be up front with us and tack that Kerry for Pres button on his lapel. McCain was a veteran of Vietnam, and served a hell of a lot longer than Kerry did - does he care about his fellow soldiers, the ones without multi-millionaire heiress wives and successful political careers, the ones he isn't having drinks with at some swank DC bar? Does he care about the men who were never able to shake the guilt of being in a war everyone hated? The ones who still aren't mentally all right, 30 years afterwards? John Kerry rose from the ashes of Vietnam to become a prominent national politican, and he did it on the backs of men who served with him.

Kerry's point on Vietnam is pretty clear, at least to me. He's proud of the men he served with, and proud of the good he was able to do, but he also saw some seriously bad shit go down over there and was thoroughly disgusted with the shoddy planning and leadership of the military and the US government of the entire conflict. From what I understand of Kerry's anti-Vietnam activism, his thesis was "The government were assholes for sending us over there and putting us through that" and certainly not "All soldiers are assholes...except me." I fail to see how this can be defined as 'maligning every Vietnam veteran in America' for his political gain. Certainly Kerry was appalled by some of the immoral actions of SOME of his fellow soldiers; who wouldn't be? As Abu Gharib has shown us, this sort of horseshit seems to happen in every war, and is really no excuse for it whatsoever. It should absolutely be rooted out and harshly punished...unless, of course, it's somehow "the liberal media's" fault for reporting it.

Two of John Kerry's three Purple Heart decorations resulted from self-inflicted wounds, not suffered under enemy fire.

All three of Kerry's Purple Hearts were for minor injuries, not requiring a single hour of hospitalization.

A "fanny wound" was the highlight of Kerry's much touted "no man left behind" Bronze Star.

So, John Kerry is a pussy, and we should instead vote for the guy who dodged the draft in Texas.

I don't mean to sound overly left-wing or anything, but I don't understand how they can somehow take the fact that the man went to Vietnam, and make it into a reason why we shouldn't vote for him.

I don't think his actions in Vietnam are the reason they think you should not vote for him. It was his actions when he came back from Vietnam that serve as the reason not to vote for him (according to the former military folks)...

I think he does care about those soldiers. I think, when he came home from Viet Nam, he wanted to bring them home, out of harms way. He knew what was going on over there, and he knew he what was going on at home, and he acted according to his conscince. And I think he cares for the men and women in Iraq right now, who face the same things now and 30 years from now, fighting a war that is sure to be seen in hindsight as a mistake, the result of mistaken information, and a mistake to continue once the reality of that information came to light.

Why even stay in Iraq in such numbers? What ever happened to getting Bin Laden?

Clinton is not running this time...

Incidentally, if Kerry were honest about his service and his anti-War actions after he came home, and didn't try to make himself into Patton, he wouldn't have this problem.

He may be less than honest, but I think the Patton reference is a stretch. One thing this does point out is how far we have come since 1975 regarding this war. One thing to remember is that most men were not drafted. We act like "W" is the only one who din't serve. Also Kerry wasn't the only one who volunteered and who received a purple heart for minor wounds. The hyperboyle is giving me whiplash.

Can we amend Godwin's Law yet?

Although I do agree that it wouldn't be an issue if he didn't make his war record an issue. It also goes both ways, though. Solution: Both parties just SHADDUP about Vietnam and anything lesser that's three decades in the past, unless it's actually relevant to their current actions.

There was something a few months ago about John Kerry having Jewish relatives or something, but, yeah, "what the hell?" is an appropriate response.

Oh yeah, as weird as it is the Kerry's Jewish roots story has been a joke in the Jewish community for months now. I meant it more as a "what the hell in that quote could POSSIBLY be considered anti-Semetic?"

Reminds me of some fat guy that just made a hundred mill shilling crap to leftist true believers about Bush.

What's the diff?

He was presenting the fact that John Kerry might be Jewish as a reason not to vote for him. Don't vote Kerry - he might be a Jew. That's kinda anti-Semetic to me. Your mileage may vary.
