And that Ichiro has his own damn rap song. I rather like Bret Boone's four choices. Oh, and A-Rod is to blame for the Baha Men having any semblance of a career. So, there ya go Sox fans.
The NL list comes out later this week.
EDIT: OK, I like 3 of Bret Boone's 4 choices.

Ichiro's song was created back in 2001 when he first got here. It goes like "bum-badumdum-EE-CHEE-RO/repeat". That's all I know, anyway.
There are few things less manly than Bret Boone striding up to bat to the strains of "Come My Lady", I don't care how many dingers he hits. | Simba

Just go to any AL team page and replace the team's name in the url. For example, "page=songs/rangers" becomes "page=songs/cardinals." Enjoy.
Edit: for some reason, the Astros, Reds and Brewers don't seem to be up yet. No loss, especially the first one.

And god bless Reed Johnson. He hustles, he hits well and he has a sense of humour. If I'm ever at a Jays game at She Bangs comes over the PA system, I'm buying season tickets. Maybe Johnson's plan is to make the other pitcher laugh so hard he won't be able to pitch straight. That's what I would do if I was a ballplayer. Serve up a steady diet of "Baby Got Back," Raffi and classic TV game show themes, and the other team won't know what to think. | The Thrill

Closer themes: Eric Gagne- Guns n' Roses' "Welcome to the Jungle" Trevor Hoffman - AC/DC's "Hells Bells" (does he still do this?) Jose Mesa - William Hung's version of "She bangs".
Victory tunes: Yankees - Sinatra's "New York, New York". Dodgers - Randy Newman's "I Love LA". Rockies - Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way"
I'm sure we can cover most, if not all, of the teams and closers. | Guru Zim

Probably some stupid superstition or something. I once watched one of our (Penn State) pitchers curse out the PA/music guy because he lost his pregame CD. It was because he didn't have his music that he lost. Nevermind all those walks and the homerun balls. The guy is now in the minors, and I'd love to see him act as arrogant and stupid now that he's a small fish in a very big pond. | vsp

| #12 Posted on 10.8.04 0804.01 Reposted on: 10.8.11 0806.11 | I remember my senior year of high school, when our ball team opened up with a pair of exhibition games against other local Northeast Wisconsin teams...in the HHH Metrodome in Minneapolis. (P'tooey!)
Being the manager, I drew the play-music-in-between-innings straw. I remember ticking the other fans off for playing soft wussy sh*t when their guys were coming up, and saving the hard motivational stuff for our boys.
My guys particularly dug Public Enemy's "Can't Truss It."
Hell, one time at our home field, the other team threw gravel at me up in the press box as they were leaving, after another loss to our mighty Ashwaubenon Jaguars, to the sweet strains of Steam's "Na Na Na Na Hey Hey Hey Goodbye."
OK, I was one partisan asshole, so sue me. :-) | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
