Well, the new site is one way to stop Widro and Ashish from posting the same items in the same news section. It'll be interesting to see how updated they can keep it with SK and Eric S being the only reliable ones of the bunch.
The new site is like an IWC old folks home, except there seems to be one big name that's missing from all this? Anyone? Anyone?

I would weep tears of unadulterated joy if someone was able to find Sean Shannon and get him/her back into the IWC. There was excitement waiting to see just how psychotic and paranoid he could get on a daily basis, and really, why watch someone burn bridges when they can blow up everything in a 50 mile radius of a bridge? | JayJayDean

Same format. Visual and otherwise. Same 'talent', though split. Enough cross promotion that you have trouble suspending belief about them being seperate Talk about opening up spots for the underviewed. Opposing color schemes.
It's a 411 Brand Extension. I propose 411RAW vs 411SD!
Not to completely bash it; it's an ingenious idea, because people are far more likely to read a second Raw Recap (and take a second banner impression) if they think it's from a second site rather than the second best recap from that site.
But as a reader, it doesn't really interest me to have a second very similar place talking about the same exact things, because I only need to read the pseduo-smart take once to get it. (Or, to be fair, I'll continue reading not at all for the most part)
I'm trying to not sound like I'm hating on a site I've just glanced at, but there's enough duplication and repeatition of the same wrestling stuff with the same mindset already availabile to me before insidepluse.com that I can get my fill of it without visiting it. I know they're trying new voices, but the voices aren't that different than the ones I'm already hearing. If I'm making the slightest bit of sense, which I'm not sure about anymore.
If the goal was to make a second 411, you've done a great job and you should be proud. | Phantom Lord

| #20 Posted on 9.8.04 1505.24 Reposted on: 9.8.11 1506.12 | Hey they did a great job of marketing the site. We're all talking about it and bitching about how it's 411 Lite and so forth.
I only hope I can create the same kind of buzz for my website.
But the real test for Inside Pulse will come when how many of the common fan readers that guys like Keith and Hyatte have remember to go to the new site and not the old one.
