| #1 Posted on 25.3.02 0955.10 Reposted on: 25.3.09 0955.23 | Here's what I don't understand. Everybody, including Angle and Holly, blame Angle for the botched moonsault that broke Bob's arm. However, if I remember correctly, Bob was supposed to move out of the way of that moonsault, didn't move quickly enough, and his arm got hit by Angle's knees. Angle did the move fine, but it was Bob's fault for not moving out of the way quick enough. So why does everybody say Angle screwed the move up?

Like Buh Buh's Senton Splash from the second rope. The move he'd ALWAYS miss. I could be wrong, but I swear Bob rolled out of the way and was on his stomach when Angle hit his arm. Anybody have a clip or remember it more clearly?

| #4 Posted on 25.3.02 1006.40 Reposted on: 25.3.09 1007.25 | If my memory serves me right that was the finish of the match (planned or not), and Holly didn't move but Angle misjudged the leap and fell a couple inches short. That little margin, though, was enough to land both knees into the arm of Holly. It's something that is really unavoidable in the ring because there is so little room for error on that move, especially with how Angle flips over, no tuck just completely stretched out. You can place the blame, but I think it's just a chance that is taken when doing a move like that. | Y2Disco

I think Holly lifted his arms slightly above his body to block a little bit of the force, and that's when the knees hit. There weren't any arguments between the two over this, were there? | sergeial

I didn't see the match, but from what I read it was the very first time Angle had attempted a moonsault. Not surprising that it was booked to never connect for a while after that. I wonder who the first brave soul (other than Bob) willing to let Angle's moonsalt connect was? Does anyone know?

Check out Wrestlemania 2000 - he definitely tried one there. In fact, when he did break Bob's arm he'd been doing them regularly. After messing up Bob's arm - he stopped doing them as often and now we see them just every once in awhile. | Eli 300
