Anyone here have any experience with these? I have eight 80 gig drives left over from the old server, and I was considering using them as backups for my system here. I want something like a removable HD where I can swap them in and out easily.
Has anyone here used anything like that?
I picked up a USB 2 adaptor a Wal*Mart for 50 bucks, but it's big and clunky. I'm planning on putting a CD-RW in it to share with Lise's iBook, but I guess I could use it for Hard drives as well.
I don't know if that's what you already bought or not. That's all I could find when I was trying to figure out what to do with my old internals.

That's kind of like what I bought. I picked up a bigger enclosure because I needed it to replace the CD Rom on the mac - we're having issues with the one that is built in, and I already own a bunch of these, so I figured this was cheaper than buying a Mac replacement.
What I'm really looking for is something that would be connected to my computer, and I could easily put a different HD into it. This way I could just grab one from a drawer, easily hook it up, and then turn the computer back on.
I guess I could just leave the case off and stack another IDE drive in there, but I was hoping for something that I could put the drive into, and then just push it in and have it hook up.
