Hentgen departs with his dignity
Pat was part of Toronto's two World Series victories in 1992 and 1993, and after a decent comeback from Tommy John surgery in 2001, re-joined the Jays for the 2004 season. Unfortunately, he went 2-9 with a 6.95 ERA this season, and he was smart enough to see the writing on the wall.
I was a big fan through his career and I was lucky enough to see him start when I was in Toronto a couple of months back. Pat also was my main inspiration for a certain method of facial hair. I still like to wear "the Hentgen" every now and then. Promote this thread! | | StaggerLee

I always thought he was a class act. I actually met him about ten years ago at a Red Lopster. Now there's an intersting story.. or not LoL | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
