With Nick and Sara gone and William Peterson leaving at the end of this season I think it is safe to say the wheels are falling off CSI. It's really a shame because I think it is/was the best show on television. I hope they are able to patch things up before the season starts. | Promote this thread! |             | DrDirt

Maybe not. If they keep the story as the focus, ala Law and Order, it may be just fine.

Reposted on: 16.7.11 0943.14 | It should be easy for the two of them to be written out as their respective storylines for their characters gave the writers a good reason for writing them out. Sara had just been busted but released for DWI and Nick had been recommended for a promotion to a job that was being eliminated for budget reasons. Sara goes to rehab and Nick moves to another city. Case closed - hire two new actors.
I think it sucks as I liked both characters and actors.
