Furthermore, I wonder if the Mavs' letting Nash go had anything to do with them giving up on getting Shaq. Wasnt he supposed to be part of the package they were offering to get Shaq? They already werent offering up Dirk, now with Nash gone, I HAVE to assume their chances of getting Shaq are dead in the water. UNLESS They still have some other mysterious way of convincing the Lakers to give Shaq up that I'm just not thinking of??? | Whitebacon

You got that right DJ. The only way Shaq goes to Dallas now is if Dirk is included in the deal. No Dirk, no Shaq.
