| #1 Posted on 22.3.02 1501.15 Reposted on: 22.3.09 1514.31 | When I lived in Madison, WI, the WWF came once, sold out our brand-new Basketball stadium in a half-hour, and then never came again, despite the fact that they always came to Milwaukee which is only an hour away. I really don't know what the WWF issues are when booking stadiums, but they must be more complicated than they appear.

| #9 Posted on 22.3.02 1721.02 Reposted on: 22.3.09 1729.10 | It could be worse. The WWF only comes to Seattle for house shows at the KeyArena (home of the Seattle sonics). For TV tapings, they make an annual trip to the Tacoma Dome -- the ugliest arena in the state.
Unfortunately, I'm not sure if they'll do any more TV tapings here, since the last time they were here was the night of the infamous Booker T/Bagwell main event fiasco. Then again, it was their fault for giving a WCW main-event to a WWF-starved state. | Whitebacon

The fed seems to like college campuses, and now they won't have to be downtown anymore. Or they'll just pass us up for friggin Bakersfield some more. One can hope, at least. | The Big Kat

I think they're in or around Chicago a couple times a year.. it can't hurt them to drive a couple of hours and put on a show. The last time they were here was the Raw after Wrestlemania 13. WCW, on the other hand, came here like 2 or 3 times in a period of 1-2 years. | cfgb

Heck, I remember back when I was younger the WWF would be in the Boston Garden every month. When they started focusing more on live shows they only came around once every 3 months and we get only get Smackdown. | quagmire

| #17 Posted on 23.3.02 1034.54 Reposted on: 23.3.09 1035.32 | Hey! You forgot one town. THe WWF (and WCW-rip) make their way to Tampa, Fl. a few times per year. The Hucksta is friends with a local dj and used his influence w/WCW to get several shows there per year. In response, the WWF sent shows there too. Also, ECW did some KILLER shows at the Florida State fairground (Tampa). Tampa gets much love from the wrestling companies... Is it because they have more strip clubs per square mile (close to 100 total) than any town in America? Probably, but you'll hear NO complaints from me. | CajunMan

| #19 Posted on 23.3.02 2042.49 Reposted on: 23.3.09 2048.21 | Until Smackdown was in Norfolk a couple of months ago, the WWF had given my part of Virginia a pass since, I think, late 98. (which was funny because the Raw where DX invaded Nitro came from my hometown while Nitro was in Norfolk.) Every WWF card I've been to here since they started coming here in 1997 sold out, so you'd think they'd keep coming. I guess the dead zone in East Rutherford makes for better TV somehow. | NRancid
