It's beginning to make me wonder if they're booking a third factor into the split--a group of rogue wrestlers who could invade either show. Vince runs one promotion, Flair runs the other, and Paul Heyman's new stable is the wild card. If they put the developmental guys into a latter-day ECW, that gives all of them an instant angle, loosens up the format a bit and lets Heyman have a little creative freedom. Plausible?

And I certainly wouldn't want that group to have the ECW name. It seems reasonable, we'll just have to see what happens, I suppose. i'd love to see paul have a full blown stable. you'd think if he had wrestlers on both sides of the split he would be able to go between shows himself. i'd be just as happy if all his boys wound up in the same brand, though. | Trineo

There are two good reasons this would never happen... (1) The Invasion Angle... (2) The nWo Angle. Both were dead in a week because the WWF has writers who know nothing about building wrestling storylines up. Paul Heyman is only one person, and with Ms. McMahon still in charge of the writers, and her father surely not going to side against her at any point, the thing that would work isn't going to be the thing that happens. | wannaberockstar

The Hurricane-Molly match was something was I look forward too. Notice the boos Bresnak got when he clotheslined Molly. Now that angle is dead already. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
