Yeah, but Ganon's EVERYONE'S bitch. Now, if you were talking about Tyson being your bitch, I'd be impressed.

If we can go old school, I'd say Sea Battle for the Intellivision. No one beat me at it.

Modern video games I am no good at. I'm a fair NBA Jam player though.

SNAP! I'd forgotten about the Intellivision. I RULED at football (9-4-1-8) and baseball. I was so good at baseball that I'd have to be all-time pitcher/defense while my brother and step-brother played. We had one game where my brother hit a dramatic solo homer in the bottom of the 29th to win 1-0.

Contra
Double Dragon 1, 2, and 3
Super Smash TV
Heroes of Might and Magic
Burnout
NHL Hitz
NFL Blitz (95-2001)
NBA Hangtime
Duke Nukem 3D

That's off the top of my head. Every other game, my friend Thomas can beat me (or anyone) in. He's just ridiculous. Actually he could probably whoop my ass in Contra and Double Dragon, but I didn't know him back then.

And I like to think of myself as a pretty good Madden player. I might even go out for the Madden Challenge this year.

This copy of Blades of Steel respectfully disagrees. Then again, maybe it's just because I played it incessantly when I went over to the neighbor's house before elementary school.

Oh, man... Blades of Steel. Awesome. I like that goofy sort of dance they do before every game.

And I have to ask your opinion, since this has bothered me for... ever, more or less. What IS it that the announcer says when you pass the puck? Because it sounds to me like, "it's a toss." Pass makes more sense though.

I believe it's "Hits the pass!"

My roommate's 2-year-old and I play Blades of Steel all the time. I lose a lot...and not just the space game in-between the 2nd and 3rd periods :-)

Huzzah for old-school!

Back in the day I was quite the thing at Sensible Soccer on the Amiga, and I owned many a classmate at Madden '93. I think it had something to do with all of us knowing how to pressure the QB, but only me having Randall to get away from the pressure.

I didn't lose much at NHL 93 either but I've a funny feeling that spoke more of the shitty standard of my friends gameplaying than any talent on my part.

More recently I'm on quite the tear in SD:HCTP, and I'm rather nifty at Pro Evolution 3 if I do say so myself.

I was pretty good at:

Castlevania 2 (stop in the villages at night, load up on hearts by exploiting the zombie patterns, buy them weapons and tear up a castle) -- Nintendo
Super Mario Golf -- Nintendo
WWF: In Your House (using the absurd Razor Ramon 21-hit combo) -- PC
Tecmo Bowl (I was the neighborhood champ no matter which team I played) -- Nintendo
Mortal Kombat 2 (using the Sub Zero ice slide and uppercut) -- Sega

Ah, well, you have to distinguish between Super Smash Brothers and SSBM. Because I can dominate anyone in SSB with any character (though Yoshi is a pain in the ass for me to control), but Melee is a completely different animal.

The Tetris post reminds me that in Minesweeper I solved a 24x30 grid with 151 mines in 213 seconds, which is blisteringly fast.

Troy Aikman's NFL Football for the SNES. I own each and everyone of you at it. If you make your way here to Edmonton, bring your best :-)

I also loved Street Fighter Alpha 2 on the PSone, and to an effect, on the SNES. The SNES version was painful to play at some points, but I still love it. For some reason, I don't care for SFA3, though.

Heck, even Street Fighter 2 or Mortal Kombat for the SNES. Yah, baby!

Oh yeah, and concerning the mad love for Super Mario 3: I can't be the only one here who didn't like that game. I much prefer Super Mario 2...that is, the SMB2 that was released here, not the one that's known as the "Lost Levels". In fact, SMB2 is the only NES Mario game I can beat.

I don't have to distinguish Jack. I just tried 64 Smash against a Japanese Video Game club last week for the first time in a year and I laid down the hurt HARDCORE with some Luigi and DK.

But Melee? I'll show ya Roy, I'll show Game and Watch, I'll show ya PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN.

(checks the bylaws)

Hunh. Doesn't say anything about it here. Besides, the last quote was getting moldy anyways.

Smackdown! 2. I own. Same with the others until HCTP. I just mastered the system. I could beat people silly with one move, and counter like there was no tomorrow. Even had the game given to someone else for like six months, he played straight, and I still showed him various circles of hell.

I am the best of the people I know at the X-box version of Soul Calibur 2, and I went back and played a guy I know on Soul Calibur 1 on DreamCast, and I beat him silly. Also DoA 2 on DreamCast. Though Guilty Gear X I can do really good, sometimes I have moments of brilliance with Chip, who is ungodly fast.

In Tekken 2 on the PS2 me and my friend Michael were dead even. Only we could beat each other, anyone attempting was destroyed. It was then I saw the beauty of Baek, the Tae Kwon Do man. Hworang in the later Tekkens, except 4, is close to the whooping.
