on the other side of the coin, Rage minus Zach is gonna blow...a combination of a TALENTED rapper and hardcore riffs was a rare and beautiful thing
so Cornell is now Tom's political mouthpiece

b-real would have been a better replacement than cornell. he did an interview a ways back where he said he was friends with the band and kinda hinted that he might be the guy who steps up. either way it's a pretty fucking different dynamic.
i'm looking forward more to zach's solo album produced by el-p. | Travis

| #11 Posted on 25.3.02 1506.43 Reposted on: 25.3.09 1507.05 | Cornell wasn't good for the group in the first place. The way I see it they have 3 options: 1. Go with B-Real or Chuck D.: Both are good friends with the band. Both are extremely poltical. And both could use it to rejuvernate their careers. or De La Soul. 2. Go back with Zack: Their ain't no Rage without De La Rocha's screeching high pitch voice screaming anti-authority messages. Zack is the heart of RATM and Tom Morello is the soul. 3. Break Rage Up and have Tom go with Limp Bizkit: I hate to see this happen being a longtime Rage fan, but if Zack won't be there, or any other poltical rapper ain't there, then there is no Rage Against The Machine. It's just the last three members under a different name and style. They have to keep their cutting edge style. Plus, Limp is looking for a new guitarist and since Tom can do almost anything with a guitar, he be the perfect choice. | Travis

Tom Morello may be insane, but he's not stupid enough to sign up with Durst. Gawd help the guy who is.
