(I'm assuming this will eventually make its way over to Zed Land, but I'll post it here for now.)

BRUSSELS -- On his 75th birthday, Tintin, the boy reporter who never grows old, has gotten himself into a bit of a scrape.

In "Tintin and Alph Art," the series's 24th and last book -- and the first new volume since 1976 -- our hero uncovers a fraudulent art scheme and tracks the perpetrators to the island of Ischia off the coast of Italy, where they have stored counterfeit paintings in a grand hilltop chateau.

Hmmm, I've had the "collector's edition" for a few years now. I don't know how different they can make it given that it'll STILL be an unfinished work.

After looking around on Amazon.uk, it appears there's a 75th anniversary DVD too.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/ exec/obidos/ASIN/B0001Z5YW8/ ref=sr_aps_dvd_1_1/026- 4847677-4906850

Of course, it's region 2.

I've always wanted to check out "Alph-Art". They're saying the story was actually left unfinished?!

Odd.
