It did start to drain when NBC kept moving it around, but it was still not the worst and at times was better than Cheers. That is saying a lot, because I thought the last three years of Cheers was the greatest comedy on television. My vote has to go to Full House. My family would watch sitcoms all the time including ABC's family friday. After two seasons of that, I realized most sitcoms suck.
I love Sienfield, yeah I can't spell it either. Sienfield was just crazy and I loved it. I liked Friends for the first two seasons, but it got to Soap Opera for me. I still stand beside the statement, South Park is the best show of the last two years. | Aldo D 2112

Saved By The Bell in itself was so bad that it became good.
However, the shows that ripped off the SBTB concept (USA High, California Dreams, etc.) sucked the meat missile and liked it. | Matt Tracker

Amen to that, they have REALLY stepped it back up this year. Cartman has returned to his old roots again, Butters has arguably become the best character on the show, and they have turned Jimmy into a pretty good one too.
I would have to say that South Park and Chappelle's Show were the best hour of TV for the past year or two. It's too bad that they moved Chappelle b/c I knew even on the shittiest day EVER that I would be laughing my ass off by 10:05PM. | redsoxnation

Throwing in Seinfeld people, the weak ass spin-off of Family Ties that was Day by Day has to rank up near the top. The derivatives of Saved by the Bell are up there, but the original is saved due to Tiffany Theisen and the chick from Showgirls. And, just on principle, probably 95% of the sitcoms that began after 1990. | Mayhem

But having said that, I'd have to say Married... With Children. I can't remember a single time that show made me laugh, not even when Sam Kinison was on it. Although Will and Grace is right up there, based solely on the incredible unlikeability of the characters. And I never got why Caroline in the City lasted as long as it did.

Suddenly Susan. Boston Common. That Christina Applegate Show. Inside Schwartz.

Small Wonder was brilliant. BRILLIANT!.... if only in it's ability to be THAT bad and yet still remain on the air.
I seem to remember a sitcom - and I'm not making this up - about a girl who was half-human, half-alien who could freeze time by touching her fingers together. The theme song was "Swing on a star...", and she talked to her alien father through a large pink jewel. I'm seriously not making this up...
