The latin countries were relegated to lower runners-up. I had my money on Miss India and Miss Paraguay. Also worh noting is that the always-present Miss Venezuela did not make the first cut.
I do think, though, that the Miss Universe organization can find better hosts than Daisy Fuentes and Billy Bush.

Mrs. Dunk put her $$$ on Miss Australia during the first intros. I thought Jamaica was going to take it. I loved her accent.
And Miss USA, the only thing missing from her country costume was the pole for her to swing on..... | Alex

Technical mishaps are fun. I stopped watching after theevening gown competition. These pageants aren't really my thing, it bugs me how very similar all the women look.
Edit: I liked Miss Finland

Ha, I was thinking the same thing. At least it was better than last year's ridiculous Wonder Woman get-up.

Trinidad & Tobago http://www.missuniverse.com/ delegates/2004/country/ TT.html
I was disappointed to see her make the top 5, only to go out the 4th runner up. In my opinion, any of the other runner's up would have been preferable to the 2 "generic blonds" that ended up 1-2.
