Oh, please. I hate AI too, but I'm not going to say it sucks because I know plenty of my friends enjoy it.
But Nip/Tuck? Have you ever watched a full episode? Because that show is amazing, in a haunting sort of way. Don't believe me? Check out Sunday night's rerun. The show is way more than T&A(though I'll never complain about that.) | thecubsfan

You really don't have to keep running in to tell us how much you hate TV shows.
Especially in threads that clearly aren't about which TV shows you hate.

| #26 Posted on 30.5.04 0500.10 Reposted on: 30.5.11 0501.18 | Undoubtedly, Fantasia was the better choice of the two. But in a way, it's unfortunate, because I feel that Diana OWNED "I Believe" and it's just a shame that now the rights will belong to Fantasia. Maybe if Diana comes out with an album of her own, they'll let her release it as a bonus track.
But enough of my thoughts on the winner and runner-up. MTV.com has posted thoughts on the futures of each Idol. Since cut & paste is out, I'll just link to the article like so:
and post my own two cents on each Idol's future.
-I always said Jasmine has more looks than talent, so acting may not be too much of a stretch. Like Vanessa Olivarez, a Broadway musical may be in this girl's future. As far as releasing an album internationally goes, that's probably for the best, since a Jasmine Trias album in the States is likely to flop.
-Latoya London DEFINITELY has the look to act. Here's hoping she can make it to the big screen. And don't think her album won't sell. It'll at least do as well as Kimberley Locke's.
-Good idea for George to stick to the classics. Sad as it is to say, nice guys do finish last in today's modern R&B and if he tried his hand at that, he'd probably get eaten alive by the likes of R. Kelly. The music world sucks sometimes.
-It's likely we haven't seen the last of John Stevens (a.k.a Beaker). We just won't see him for a while. Enjoy college, Little Sinatra.
-Jennifer Hudson has all the tools to be a gospel superstar.
-Jon Peter Lewis could hit it big with the Country crowd, since that's about the only genre he could really do well. As for his Broadway and movie aspirations, I just can't see it. But of course, this IS the same JPL that dressed up as a banana for his art, so he's at least mastered one role.
-As one of the ONLY Camile fans on this board (and probably on Earth), I wish her the best of luck. She's still really young and has already gone farther than most aspiring singers her age. A group setting would be ideal for her and might even turn her into the next Fergie (of Black Eyed Peas fame).
-Like JPL, Amy Adams can also find success with a country album. But her LOOK says "Kelly Osborne" more than it does "Faith Hill" or "Shania Twain". That might turn off Country enthusiasts. (Either that, or create a whole new Country audience)
-Excuse me while I laugh at the notion of Matt Rogers being the next Bob Barker. As for Matt Rogers as an actor, I can't make any judgment call either way. But if it's true that his first film role will be alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Eugene Levy, then that'll be intriguing (no matter how small his role may be).
-And Leah Labelle...well...I think it's safe to say we've heard the last of Leah Labelle.
As much as people will complain about this season compared to the past two, there's no denying that, overall, this will be the most successful class of American Idols to date. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
