Can ANYBODY explain WTF was up with tonight's show? My wife asked me to tell her what happened and all I could come up with is "I have absolutely no freaking idea."

I actually thought it was developing into a good episode before the 20 minute acid trip. I could live with the dream sequence, but once it got past 5 minutes it just became ridiculous.

Yeah, after the car sequence, I began thinking "okay, joke's over. Wake up, T". I believe the directors won an Emmy for the season 4 episode that featured Tony dreaming about his deceased ex-lover (can't remember her name...the car dealer chic. Same one who was on tonight). Maybe that spurred them to do this episode?

As far as the teeth thing.. it's supposedly a common dream and one I have about once a month. Theories say it means you have too much going on in your life. There's not one thing you can sink your teeth into.

Man, tough crowd.

I thought it was an awesomely surreal episode. I mean, can you really have a show about a mental patient and not have these types of sequences? This one was long, but Tony has had dreams like this before and given the stress he's under, it seemed appropriate to me. He never expresses guily openly, but his dreams sure do paint him as a guilt-ridden guy (which stays in line with his compassionate characteristics).

I really liked the scences with Anna Bella and the scene when he's riding Pie-O-mie in the house and tells Carmella he wants to come home. Oh yeah, and the dinner scene was hilarious.

What a trip. Wasn't a great episode, but was fairly amusing...and to end it up by him and Carmella on the phone...makes you wonder what's up next??

This episode actually almost made me feel drunk. Weird crap there.

I wonder if they were foreshadowing anything bad happening to Artie Bucco.

That's the kind of dream I always have when I sleep to much. Crazy mixed up and never ending. They don't end because you stay in them to see what the hell is going on. This is what make it almost impossible to end them. I usually end them by saying in the dream screw this I need a cigarette and I wake up upset and smoke a butt.

I'm not sure about this whatsoever, but I have a strong hunch that every clip that was on TV in his dreams was something that Tony had been watching on TV at some time or another on the show. Well, something weird like that, like the TV clips meant something.

It seemed like it was loosely based on "A Christmas Carol". The first part of the dream was the past, with all the dead guys in the car. The second part was the present, dinner with Meadow and Finn. The 3rd part was the future, what would happen if Tony didn't stop Tony B from whacking Philly.

I thought it was great that they brought back a lot of the characters that had been killed off, even if for just a few seconds each. It was kinda creepy to see him talking to Gloria and her looking him right in the eye and saying "I died too young"...just surreal.

Also, after seeing all the characters, i said "Man, they should have had Richie Aprile make an appearance", but i didn't see him....until he was listed on the closing credits. After rewatching the episode, I realized that Richie was one of the guys in the back seat of Artie's car, sitting next to Gigi (the scene where he burped and made Tony look back). It looked almost NOTHING like the Richie I remember. I watched that scene 10 times and still couldn't swear it was him. The only resemblance I recognized was that Richie had a really small upper lip and and a recognizable indent under his nose. He looked much fatter, balder and older.

It was a strange episode, but enjoyable....but with only 2 episodes left this season, it seemed like they should have worked on some of the developing storylines from the previous couple of episodes. Enjoyed it just the same, though...
