Right on. Tiger vs Hot Shots, not even a contest. Hot Shots is fun for a while, but the cartoon factor gets old quick. Maybe back in 2002 or so, Hot Shots may have been the better game, but with everyhting that was added for Tiger 2004, I can't see any golf game being better than it (except for 2005 of course!). | Battlezone

Once this comes out, I CHALLENGE YOU to an online match. Hell, we'll put Disco Inferno's old WCW TV title on the line.

It's Hacksaw's TV Title now! He found it in the garbage, after all, and it's finders keepers!
In any event... if I had any interest in paying a monthly online fee to play a game that I already have, I'd take you up on your challenge. Alas. | Whitebacon

Developers have been thinking of charging for a while to play online. EA just did a poll for Madden 2004 users if they were willing to pay a monthly or yearly fee if they added features etc.
They money they would charge is used up yupdate servers and or add new features. Microsoft already does it for X-Box Live. One of the reasons EA was the hold out till last week was because why should Microsoft get money from gamers and in this case EA is the one who providing content. No problem with PS2 since there is no charge from anyone.
But if a game will provide updates(rosters, courses, even prizes I might be willing to pay per game on a yearly basis. I got X-Box live and im cool with that. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
