Anybody hear any reason why Mark Madsen wasn't in the game at all for the T-Wolves last night? I was wincing everytime Olowokandi came in, and very surprised when the T-Wolves were playing flat (aka 40 out of the 48 minutes last night) that they didn't bring in Maddog to try to inject some energy.

I missed the first 3 minutes out of the game (so you may want to adjust my minutes above, but considering the score was 6-4 at that point... ) and the pregame so maybe something was announced there (not injured is he?)

Looking at the box score, looks like he and Oliver Miller simply drew DNP-CDs.

More interesting than that, it looks like only 7 Kings played in that game. Four got DNP-CDs, and one didn't play due to injury.

Wow, it's almost like the Kings and Pacers are playing in different universes or something. Don't take this as an indictment of the Kings by any means. But not only did the Pacers use all 12 guys on their playoff roster during Game 2 against the Heat, five of them played more than 10 minutes.

Weird.

I know...it was like they were Pacers appearing in waves for Game 2. But kudos though: every time Miami got to within breathing distance Indiana (usually Miller) drained a 3 or got a key basket to keep the game at bay. But I knew going into this series the Miami were a a severe disadvantage as far as size AND depth went, so what I expected to happen has happened...not to mention the fact the game of "Does Ron Artest Have To Choke A Bitch?" that's going on as far as Caron Butler's offense is concerned.

Just as a sidenote, can Eddie Jones guard ANYONE anymore?

This isn't unusual for the Kings, though - Adelman has always switched to a seven or eight man rotation for the playoffs - you can go back years and see it. Jackson being out just means more minutes for Peeler.

I think he should be renamed "Air Madsen" after that funky baseline cram at around 12:30 IN THE MORNING last night...but OOOH what a game. I'm starting to believe in the T-Wolves.

BTW, Fred Hoiberg is YO DADDY.

There should be a rule-if Mark Madsen dunks on you, that's it. Stop the game, turn off the lights-GAME OVER.*

*unless the team inexplicably loses a fifteen point lead in the last four minutes.

Madsen came about THAT close to supplanting Tom Chambers' standing as having the best single white dunk in NBA history

And just as a sidenote, THAT was when he needed to break out his patented MDDDR (Mad Dog Dance Dance Revolution).

Ahhhh memories...that brought a smile to my face. I don't think Mark Jackson is laughing though. I wonder if he still has the shoe prints on his shoulder...

If they stopped the game at that point, the second condition of your statement wouldn't have happened. :)
