Thank goodness most teams in the NFL disagree. Yeesh. And it's not like I'm a huge Stones fan, but that is a total diss of Keith Richards. If he wasn't already medically dead, his liver would come back and kick all thier asses. | Downtown Bookie

I noticed that there was also no mention of that other British band from the 1960's. I seem to recall that they had a few good songs with compelling guitar riffs, some of which were:
I Feel Fine Ticket To Ride Day Tripper Birthday Come Together
However, since we've gone almost two dozen replies without anyone else mentioning them, this really could be just my opinion. Anyway, two other songs I would include in the best riffs category would be "Slow Down" and "Dizzy Miss Lizzie". Also, the above mentioned "I Feel Fine" should get some consideration among top guitar solos, as it was almost definitely the first rock and roll song to feature a two guitar solo (first half of the solo played by George, with John coming back with the opening riff before returning to vocals). And, yes, I do miss Tony Kornheiser's "Old Guy Radio". | BOSsportsfan34

Some more guitar riffs by the Beatles that could've been included...

Am I really the only one in the world that hates 'Creep'? Nowhere near my favorite Radiohead song. I just get so tired of hearing, "I wish I was SPECIAL! So very SPECIAL!"
Ugh. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Give me Climbing up the Walls, or Paranoid Android any day.

Noteworthy things.
Master Of Puppets by Metallica is the highest new entry. Purple Haze by Jimi Hendrix dropped 76 places. Which is ludicrous. Nearly two-thirds were new entries. Whoever put Smells Like Teen Spirit as Number 2 needs to be shot in the eyeball. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
