Yes, you were. You were saying to yourself, "Golly, what is Dean writing about on that DVDVR message board in that serial he's writing, "ROOM 6"? Why am I not hip to it?" Not to worry. To catch up, go to. If you read it everyday, the continuity isn't so horrible but the sweet talk about sex makes it all alright...

To catch up, go here: http://deathvalleydriver.com/wwwboard/search/?search=6+PART&Submit3=Begin+Search&subjects=yes

Just in case you're looking for it in 2009, it's at http://www.deathvalleydriver.com/room6.html.

To make everyone's life easier (especially because Dean messed up the numbering of the Parts and the actual title, making searching harder), I put all the pieces of "Room #6" together.

There are stored (hopefully) HERE

Okay DEAN and Phil - I going to go read this now. I am guessing it's pretty out there, so if I never post again, you'll know what happened.

Okay, so now I've read all 14 parts. Part One connects to the other thirteen parts how, DEAN? From then on, I get it.

Some questions:

- Are you making this up as you go along or do you have some plan for these folks?

- The Wreck of the Edmund Fiztgerald? What a dork.

- How many more parts are there going to be? I guess it kinda depends on the answer to that first question up there now doesn't it?

- Phil - do you encourage DEAN to write this stuff?

- I think it was Montgomery Clift, but now I am picking nits.

- Man, I like reading your stuff. Carry on, dood.

PR: That would be no. I am wondering when Dean will stop to take a moment to put his pants back on and write some reviews so I can put out the next DVDVR

DR: I figure that I'll swing back around to making it connect in a few months.

From then on, I get it.

Some questions:

- Are you making this up as you go along or do you have some plan for these folks?

DR: I'm writing it with the same process they booked Nitro in it's heyday and Raw today. Sorta.

- The Wreck of the Edmund Fiztgerald? What a dork.

DR: The Edmund Fitzgerald as romantic allegory is a fascinating concept to me. I don't know why.

- How many more parts are there going to be? I guess it kinda depends on the answer to that first question up there now doesn't it?

DR: It's a serial. I hope it runs 15 years.

- Phil - do you encourage DEAN to write this stuff?

DR: Phil loves it! I know he does! Right! RIGHT?!?!?!

- I think it was Montgomery Clift, but now I am picking nits.

DR: Proofreading shmoofreading.

- Man, I like reading your stuff. Carry on, dood.

DR: Thanks. I'm gonna keep writing this until I get it right.

DEAN.

And DEAN - the dork comment was not intended for you, it was for your character.

Now, since I read all 14 parts in one day, how are often are you writing and how often do they actually get posted?
Is it a daily? I can't wait until tomorrow, brother.

I'll handle this, because Pieman gave me a shoutout for giving him a shoutout over at another place somewhere...

Sometimes it'll be a couple days before one pops up again, sometimes (like today, I think) you'll get two new ones. Occasionally they're misnumbered, but someone always corrects Dean.

According to the Board Search Enginey thing, it started on the 27th of December, so that's a little more than one a day, I think.

And the Edmund Fitzgerald thing was weirdly awesome.

Dean usually strives for two Parts a day. Of course, that all depends on if he has - ya know - real work to do or not.

Part 15 came out late yesterday afternoon.

I just added it to the link.

You know, you Driver guys are pretty bizarre sometimes. But, I am digging your stuff, man.

I think that DEAN is the bizarrest, also. And I mean that in the best possible way, my friend.

DR: That whole Great Lakes Death Storms thing so fascinating to me. My first foray into the Edmund Fitzgerald as romantic allegory was this song I wrote when I was in the Pleasure Models. http://www.deathvalleydriver.com/deanzrokk/chancellor.mp3

Okay, I am resurrecting a week old thread here DEAN to find out if Part 20 is it? Are we going to get some more or not? I am thinking this isn't going to be a daily serial is it? Daily serial is redundant I think.

Maybe Phil is the one I should ask?

I will find part 20 and put it up shortly.

Dean also claimed that the serial would start back up today too. So there is a chance that Part 21 will be done to.
