Edit: I see some advertisement that is dangerously close to the actual gravitar songs, so be warned if you hear something that doesn't sound "noisy".
That site has some short Gravitar clips (Dearborn WHAT!). To put noise rock into words, think of it as heavily distorted guitars, bass, keyboards, drum machines, etc. but it's not *just* noise like an ambient noise band, they actually have melodies...of a sort. Often there is no vocals, but it depends on the band. To a first time listener, many noise rock songs would appear to be "just dicking around" but to the seasoned noise vet. they can distinguish between bands and songs.

Godspeed You Black Emperor! might qualify as a noise band, though it swings to orchestral almost... but I dunno if I'd pigeonhole them as such.
Melt Banana is a great one, with the lead singer, and their guitarist, who just uses his slide, and rocks on and off different effects pedals they should be given one heard. Though they are definately not everyone's cup of tea.
