The final Confidential, they went with a best of feel to it. Looks like they took a story from the past from each aspect of what made Confidential.
-History- They focus on the NWA/WCW title, former champions Flair, Big Show, Booker and DDP speak of its' importance and the being held but great wrestlers like Buddy Rogers.
-In your House- Shows quick clips of WWE camera's in superstars home. Booker putting green. Lawler & his Coca-Cola fascination. Al Snow is a Pepsi guy. Ivory lives in the middle of no where and shows off her closet. Trish enjoys some relax time in her hot tub.
-Day to Day Life- Focusing on Bubba Ray. He travels with D'von, Spike and Dreamer. Bubba misses his girlfriend and warns her about the wrestling travel life early in the relationship. Dreamer is very impressive by getting 5 stuffed animals in the claw machine.
-Before they were superstars- Focuses on Rikishi, he was a victim of a drive by shooting, he has a big scare on his belly to prove it "Wrong place, wrong time" he says. He said the bullet felt like hot blade slicing through him (ohh I'll just take your word on it).
-Superstar overseas- A quick clip segment. Torrie handles a slimy snake(oh so many jokes) Jericho sings Beatles "Help" with a Japanese security guard. Christian eyes some sheep and then sings with some peeps. Cena can't handle his Guinness, nor the Irish cold air, but can take Japanese food. Showed clip of Kurt in a Japanese spa which was way too hot for his liking.
-Wrestling Angles/Wars- DX invades WCW. Nash talks about how freaked out he is to see DX at a WCW show.
-Diva's photoshoots- Torrie is so honored and excited to be part of PB, well good for her. Sable joins in later and says she doesn't know why people find 2 girls together so sexy(don't know Sable, but you two really made the best effort to make it uninteresting). Stacy in a pleather type outfit for magazine shoot for Stuff. Dawn is at a "club" that is featured in the Sopranos doing her thing. Trish doing some posing for her BOTY photos from a year ago
-True Wrestling Stories- The very scary tale of a private plane that went down in 1975 with Flair, David Crockett, Mr. Wrestling, Johnny Valentine and Bob Brueggers. Flair mentions how it didn't humble him at all at the moment but does now thinking back
-Bloopers- Some outtakes from Mean Gene.
-Outside the Ropes- A collection of Q&A. Does Michael Jackson turn into a superhero when he puts on a mask? HURRICANE: he turns into something, but not a superhero.. Who'd win a match Christian or Conquistador2? CHRISTIAN: That's tough even match, but Christian. But I'd destroy Conquistador1.. Do you know when you walk the streets people probably seen you naked? TORRIE: Oh thanks Josh... Is Clay Aiken the next Barry Manilow? COACH: See I love Manilow, I like Aiken too but he's a long way to be as good as Manilow.. Spell Nikolie Habibyulin? JERICHO: If this was a hockey spelling bee I'd win(but he gets it totally wrong twice).. Explain Mary Lou Retton being on a box of Wheaties, and you haven't? ANGLE: Now you hit a sore spot, I should have been on one. Okay take those glasses off so I can kick your butt. (no Lance Storm asking questions, those were the best!)
Mean Gene gives his final good-byes for the show as the remove the set behind him.
I'm going to miss the show, I really enjoyed seeing these wrestlers away from the TV show we usually see them in. Some of them really shine others had a more difficult time, but it was all interesting viewing who does and who doesn't. You also get a lot of features with mid/lower car guys that you don't usually see on the A-shows. On the most part I always enjoyed the show for what it was and on many occasion I liked it more then Raw's or SD's... Well I hope the people that read this and my other Confidential threads enjoyed it, despite my horrible writing skillz.
(Cue Elton John, English Rose music) Goodbye Confidential, my enjoyment for your show is more then your ratings ever shown.

I never see Confidential ever or even seen any bits of it not on recap shows. But your report NHS were always entertaining I miss them. They make me wish I saw shows. Your righting skills are good and it seem a grate WWE program. I hope new replacement show is good - will you report it n-e-one?

I'll echo the sentiment, NHS, that I always enjoyed your Confidential reports.
Didn't get to see the show as often as I would have liked, but I did enjoy the concept (hey, I even bought that 'Best of' DVD!). Sure, it was a total PR fluff job, but it was different than the other wrestling-related programming out there. If for no other reason than the (often clipped) classic match, it was worth watching. Of course... if everyone only watched only ocassionally, that's probably part of them it was scrapped.
I'm sure whatever C-level recap program they have penciled in to take its place won't come close to matching what Confidential had. Too bad.
