Anybody play it yet? I like it. The total punch control thing is very interesting, and when it works, it works very well. My fighter in career mode lost a few matches because I couldn't figure out how to get up. The lining up the images of the referee thing is a pain in the butt.

Does anybody know how to master the heavy bag portion of training? I can't seem to do well, and get yelled at by my trainer.

On another note: picked up my green XBox Halo bundle today. Looks sweet.

It took me a little while to learn the fight controls (right antalog can do it). I am still trying to get it down.

The game is AWESOME. I, too, am having trouble mastering the heavy bag, at my poor fighter's expense, as his power and speed are very low. I think I'm going to try to change the control configuration so that I use the buttons for the heavy bag drill, because it should just be a matter of getting the timing down and the TPC is too touchy about which is an uppercut and which is a hook, then change it back to use the TPC when fighting.

Green XBox Console, Green Controller, and the game Halo. Good deal for those of use who haven't bought an XBox yet. I spent some of my IRS refund to buy it.

As for the heavy bag, I've been told you should go "right hook, left hook, right hook, left hook..." on and on to get it to work right. Doesn't work for me. (But it works against Don Flamenco in Punch Out, so maybe I'm on the right track)

It's the most realistic boxing game I've played so far. The only thing I don't like is that you can't clinch. Other than that, it's the real deal. I have a ps2 but I'm sure the X-box is just as good, if not better.

The 1st 4-5 fights (me as Jones Jr. vs. Frazier) were frustrating and emotional but I finally found a way to win by K.O in every fight. My career fighter is still undefeated, 12-0 with all K.O's. Totally womanizing all comers.

Few tips: I used the controller configuration #5. I use the buttons for outside fighting and the R3 for inside fighting.

The heavy bag is about timing and it does seem easier to use the buttons I think. The left and right hooks are all that are needed to pass that.

It's definitely the best boxing game ever, and I've played a lot of them. Knockout Kings and previous titles don't even come CLOSE to this one; Total Punch Control is really intuitive once you get it down.

I second you on the heavy bag -- use the buttons, use hooks, and get a pattern going, and you'll score perfect every time.

If you get online much, my SN is BeekerMedik. I usually hang out in the Amateur rooms right now because I've found that whenever I go to the bigger rooms, I generally get destroyed by someone who is 300-2.

My advise for people like me, who only have a few hours a week to play: Create a boxer and practice beating his ass with the regular charactors. I love the TPC but it takes a few hours to master. I was getting my ass beat by welterweights while I was Roy Jones. But the first time I knocked someone down, I had this cheesy grin on my face. This is also the first boxing game where you can actually create belivable likeness of real boxers. My wife thought my created Mike Tyson was actually one of the regular boxers. I too came close to getting the X-box version (which looks sweeter) but damn E.A. and their No-XBox-Live rule convinced me to get the PS2 version. I won't go online until I become really good, I hate to lose.
