Wyoming swept Utah this year...by no means is this an "upset." The only true upset of yesterday was UNC-Wilmington beating USC.

I don't know, I was kinda upset at some results last night. *rimshot* But seriously, although Tulsa is no slouch--Marquette was a top 10 team for most of the season. That's an upset any way you slice it.

But what does that say about USC? Losing to UNC-Wilmington? How DARE they get a 4 seed based on their season! How DARE Oklahoma State get a 7 seed based on their season! How DARE Miami lose as a 5 seed! What was Marquette thinking, losing to Tulsa?
Does that make any sense at all? Obviously not. Those teams worked hard during the season, and they were rewarded for it (although probably unduly with Miami-FL, but that's beside the point... maybe with Oklahoma State, too.). There's a reason they call it March Madness; strange and crazy things happen. Wyoming was an underrated team; Ohio State didn't care about playing and nearly lost themselves. You end up tied for the second-best record in D1, and you get a 6 seed... yeah, you're going to be a little disappointed. The West is loaded; pretty much everything that goes on over there will be a major surprise to someone. Remember that before you slam Gonzaga for finishing with, at worst, mind you, the 5th best D1 record. | Jaguar

And the damn Seeding commitee is trying to screw ME personally, because I'd really love to see both Arizona and Wyoming go all the way, but noooooo, they have to meet up 2nd round. That's BULLSHIT! Next year, None of my teams should meet up until the Final Four, and Duke shouldn't be invited. So nyah!

True...my mistake. Hard to get used to the Mountain West after having the WAC around for so long... | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
