Green Day
Bad Religion
NOFX
U2
Tenacious D (their show here next month sold out in like half an hour! argh!)
Eels (but I'm going March 30!)

Not counting ones that are no longer together (I wish I`d been around for Talking Heads and The Clash), yes I have seen all of my favorite bands. There are newer bands I`d like to see live (Jimmy Eat World, Tenacious D) but looking at the list of my favorite bands, I believe I`ve seen them all at least once. Wow. | ironcladlou

| #7 Posted on 13.3.02 2203.52 Reposted on: 13.3.09 2203.59 | I've been to see every single band I ever wanted to see....except maybe Queen. The list goes: Rush (once), HUM, (once), Moxy Früvous (five times), They Might Be Giants (twice), Matthew Sweet (once). I would have liked maybe to see Rage Against The Machine, but I didn't start liking them until after they broke up. Ben Folds Five would've been a good show as well...damn my wife for going to see them before she met me. Someday, you will see me at a Tenacious D show...wish I had caught their double bill with Weezer, another band I would very much love to see. They played a secret WBCN show in Wellfleet a couple months ago...the next day I was greeted by a huge picture of Rivers Cuomo on the front page of the Cape Cod Times. Damn, the list is longer than I thought. | MarchOfThePigs

My biggest regret at the moment was from a few months ago when a mate of mine said "Hey, I'm going to see the Strokes tonight and I've got a spare ticket, they're a new American bad who're supposed to be pretty good. Wanna go?" and I said "No, I can't be bothered to go out tonight". Stupid, stupid boy. | bash91

| #10 Posted on 14.3.02 1350.00 Reposted on: 14.3.09 1352.12 | Actually, I really can't think of any bands still performing that I would want to see that I haven't already seen at one point or another. A partial list of those already seen in something that might resemble chronological order. Billy Idol at Red Rock, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Petra, Allison Krause, Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, The Hooters, Depeche Mode, Black Flag, Flock of Seagulls, Dead Milkmen,Duran Duran, Grateful Dead, Jimmy Buffett, GWAR, Smashing Pumpkins (opening for), Melissa Etheridge, Warren Zevon, Primus, Fishbone, Queensryche, Lollapalooza 1,2,& 3, Billy Joel and Elton John, Hank Williams Jr., dc Talk, Poison, LA Guns, Great White, Ratt, and assorted other local or less well known bands. I still regret turning down the tickets to see the Eagles on the Hell Freezes Over Tour, but I thought I had to work.

| #11 Posted on 14.3.02 2120.19 Reposted on: 14.3.09 2129.05 | Being an agnostic, I'm not much of an authority on Christian Rock. But having dated one of those really fiercely born-again chicks, I was exposed to some of it, and I can categorically say that there are so many better Christian acts than Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant and dc Talk, it's not funny. I actually heard some that I liked. Something Mullen or something (Rich?) was good. Nice dichotomy with GWAR, though. | Leroy

Really? That was the only time I saw them and they were excellent. And of course, Mike Doughty`s solo "small rock" is highly recommended as well. But that was another thread a few weeks ago. | Spank E

Unfortunately, this year we are being punished for last year's awesomeness with Starship. We might have to move our little party a little further from the stage this year.
I'll probably be too hung over from the Wing Ding to care, or I'd better be.
