| #1 Posted on 31.3.04 0434.39 Reposted on: 31.3.11 0435.53 | Air Force One landed at the Outagamie County Regional Airport in Greenville (next to Appleton, about 30 miles south of Green Bay) yesterday, and President Bush gave an economy-themed speech at Appleton's Performing Arts Center.
Yours truly was dispatched w/ a reporter (or as we photogs call 'em, "tripod carriers") to cover LIVE the AF1 landing. It's the 2nd time I've done Dubya's big 747 live, and the 3rd time I've had the leader of the free world in my camera's viewfinder. Pretty cool.
Anyhoo, if (image removed) this link doesn't work, go to WBAY.com, and look on the right side of the main page until you find the link that says "Action 2 News: Complete Live Coverage of the President's Visit." (It says 1:17, but trust me, it runs a lot longer than that.) That should trigger our website's video player, and you can see what I saw through my camera.
A nice feather in the ol' cheesehead...er, cap, to say I covered a President...again. Sometimes this job ain't so bad. Promote this thread! | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
