Let's not forget Dallas at Minnesota in the national doubleheader game on Fox.

Awwww, forget it.

The rest of the scedule will be announced later, probably the last Thrusday of April, if the NFL does like it always has.

The AP confirmed that the rest of schedule would be announced in April. I'd post a link to the story, but it didn't say anything else beyond that.

I'm surprised they aren't going Cowboys vs. Redskins (Parcells vs. Gibbs) on either Thursday or the first Monday Night Game. Have to guess that will end up being Thanksgiving late game.
As for Colts/Pats in Foxboro on a Thursday Night: Dear God, that will be a disaster area, as all the drunks start a long weekend.

Just as an FYI, they announced the full schedule last season on April 3, if I remember correctly.

I'm pysched already and September is a long ways off. Can't wait to see the Pats expose Manning as the little bitch he is once again though...

I'd actually not have an annihilation on the Opening Night. The 2 Super Bowl seasons have both started with bad losses (to the Bengals and the 31-0 drubbing by the Bills) while we completely dominated the Steelers in between and wound up going 9-7 on the year.

I won't say I want the Patriots to lose, but I won't say I want it to be a laugher either.

Lets see if you can get another snow storm up in New England in September, to help out as well.

Yes Very VERY bitter. As a New York fan, I hate to see a any Boston team succeed.

LOL. So much for the theory that Boston fans take the Red Sox/Yankees rivalry a lot more serious than NY fans do.

I heard a rumor late in the football season that the NFL is thinking of doing more regular games on Thursday Night, has anyone heard anymore to this?

I heard a discussion on this on one of the ESPN radio shows a couple of days ago.

NFL is supposedly considering more Thursday night games, Sunday night games and a second Monday night game. The purpose is to be able to regionalize their coverage, just like on Sundays, and therefore grab more ratings.

The show (I think it was Mike and Mike)said the Thursday and Sunday games would go to ESPN while the Monday game would (obviously) be on ABC.

They also speculated on the fact that the NFL is doing this, possibly, to gear up for the NFL NETWORK...in a few years be able to do all their own programming, almost every night, with regional coverage.
