| #1 Posted on 29.3.04 1012.30 Reposted on: 29.3.11 1012.35 | Has anyone checked this out yet. It isn't as bad as i thought it was. From what i've seen from TNA there was a Kane rip-off, and the show isn't much either. MLW is OK, i caught an awful Funk/Candido match with 'larger' Tammy Synch.
Just to remind people that there is a 2-hour Shawn Michaels interview tonight that should be interesting. I think it might be a little old but still interesting.
I caught a bit of a Jake Roberts interview last week. He was saying how he no-sold Muhammed Ali. Anyway i was just wondering has anyone any thoughts on it and what promotion should i look out for. Promote this thread! | | MrBling

Are you thinking of "Abyss" ? He's more like a Kane/Mankind hybrid in my opinion. He seemed decent in the match he had at the SuperX Cup event. | oldschoolhero

Also, check out this week's supercard. It's an early ROH show with an AWESOME three-way dance between Aj Styles, Low Ki and Paul London, and then an equally swank title match between London and Xavier. Primo stuff. | Ringmistress

| #7 Posted on 30.3.04 0856.10 Reposted on: 30.3.11 0856.42 | What I've seen has been really good. Shoot Interviews have been gr8 so far with Jake "The Snake" Roberts and The Road Warriors. Shawn Michaels is tonight with future ones being Bret Hart, Shane Douglas and Jim Cornette. Michaels takes place in 1998 after he leaves the WWE. Also most of the wrestling is good too. NWA-TNA is old tho is it not? I'm sure they were hyping a Styles/Raven match for October on last week's show. Lots of good talent tho including AJ Styles, Raven, CM Punk, Jeff Jarrett ect. Other programs are good but some are annoying cos of the commentary language such as CMLL Mexico and NOAH Japan. Love Ring of Honor and Major League Wrestling. Both better than expected. Last week's supercard of MLW was great with good work from Jerry Lynn and La Parka. They also show World of Sport Wrestling which I just caught a glipse off with a young Steven Regal. FWA is great British Wrestling with stars such as Jody Fleisch and Doug Williams aswell as appearances by Christopher Daniels and AJ Styles last week. CZW is like a new ECW with plenty of hardcore action but I don't think it has the same flare. 3PW is much better at hardcore with appearances from Raven and Shane Douglas aswell as Sabu. Memphis Classic isn't great but gives me nostalgia with Randy Savage and Jerry Lawler. Haven't watch GAEA yet but it looks ok with womens wrestling.
According to their website they are in talks to get access to UPW, Classic Wrestling Superstars, Toryuman, OVW, NWA:Wildside and more... (their words not mine)

We get young Owen Hart, Willy Regal, British Bulldog's son, AJ Styles and loads of UK stuff and some Saturday UK wrestling from my fave ITV Sports Worlds.
The dubbing and sound can be annoying at many times from some shows but not everyone is the WWE. Still the channel kicks ass and you US or Canada guys and lovely girls should try to get one going somehow like it is in the UK.
OVW and UPW would be so cool as would some more XPW, man I love XPW. What was that promotion Sable was in? Was it FWF or something, they should get that show man. | XPacArmy

I think you mean Jimmy Hart and the King.
Anyway I've been watching TWC for a few weeks now and they don't seem to show any new programs. Ive seen the same 3 TNA episodes over and over again (count yourselves... Jarrett vs Chris Daniels, hyping Dusty Rhodes vs AJ Styles with Jarrett pissed off because he thinks Dusty is stealing his title shot and the X Division No.1 contenders tourney )
Same with MLW and ROH. I suppose the jurys still out but it is disappointing at the moment (apart from the shoot interviews which rock) | oldschoolhero

Makes total sense, because they'd quickly run out of TNA stuff if they showed like five every seven days. And it gives me a chance to tape something I liked the first time round at a later date, which I did with the BOSS Samoa Joe/AJ Vs. Briscoes match from a coupla weeks ago. | devineman
