From his RAW report:

"Meanwhile, Jericho is about to go shopping for air freshener, but truly Russos Law (Given a series of alternatives for a storyline, inevitably the most fucking stupid one will result) reigns this time as the limo backs up over poor Lucy and hopefully kills the stupid thing.

- No, sadly, the dog is still alive. Had they killed the dog, its a thumbs up show."

So I'm to presume the Al Snow/Bossman angle from a few years back was a **** star (minus one star for lack of canadians or Hardyz) affair?

I think he just meant that he wanted to see an end to the dog angle. It's Yet Another Angle that is overshadowing the the championship match at WM. It puts more attention on Steph and HHH's custody battle than Jericho and HHH's match.

It's not like Bossman/Snow, which was about, what, the Hardcore Title?

Bossman/Snow revolved around the Bossman KILLING Snow's dog and then tricking Snow into eating the corpse. I shit you not.

The stupid dog angle could have been ended in about a million ways other than the death of the poor creature. The Islanders didn't have to kill Matilda.

SKeith is just a twisted little (fat) man.

I read Scott Keith from time to time, and Im starting to understand why he is the way he is. He seems to like wrestling, the problem is hes gotten a little too smart for his own good. Hes in love with the power of his words, he feels like he has influence, so he sounds off loud about what he doesnt like. I mean the guy is published. Having a published book on the street is enough to make your head swell, throw in the fact he has a popular web site and he writes for several others and theres your explanation for a huge ego. I mean I get excited if I post something here and it gets a few replies, so I can imagine what its like to have a book, a website and a legion of loyal followers, telling you how cool and smart you are. Its a drug, ask CRZ. 90% of this board sucks up to him constantly and he loves it. And CRZ just does RAW and Smackdown. Imagine how many people worship SKeith. He does like five columns a week.Ok Im done....

By the way, I don't agree with you - but don't let the fact that I'm *actually* "CRZ" dissuade you from typing like you know how CRZ feels about things. Just like if Scott ever stopped lurking, he'd probably tell you he knows a lot more about being John Malkovich Scott Keith. But I shouldn't speak for him 'cause that'd be hypocritical. ;-)

I know that Snow ate the dog, but I didn't remember if that was the start of the feud or not.

Look, I'm not a Keith lemming. If I was, I'd be posting at The Smarks. I just think you're taking the remark a little too seriously. I doubt that Keith was rooting for the dog's demise just so he could gleefully witness some canine carnage. I think he just wanted a quick and absolute end to the angle.

Yes, there are a lot of other ways to end it, but you and I both know that the dog will be dragged out at WM at a time when the WWF should be focused on it's championship match-up, not some shitty divorce angle. I think this is why Keith made the remark.

I'm a supporter of animal welfare. I have a dog and three cats. I've done volunteer work for animal welfare organizations. My wife is a veterinarian. Yes, I thought the angle was tasteless. So tastless, in fact, that I don't know when I'll start watching wrestling again. But is it any more tasteless than Bossman dragging Big Show's dead father's casket behind his car? Is it more tasteless than VKM galloping around a ring spanking his bare ass with a cowboy hat? Is it more tasteless than Stephanie telling a feeble wheelchair-occupying Freddie Blassie that he was going to die soon?

My point is that there are plenty of tasteless, embarrassing antics that go on in wrestling. I stopped watching wrestling for a while after each of the aforementioned events happened. I don't think that killing the dog would have been much worse.

(A) Did you ever actually read the book? I saw some excerpts and...well...
(B) Ever seen his publicity photo for the book? If people *worship* that man I've lost all faith in humanity.
(C) Ever look around over at theSmarks.com? Racism and juvenile humour abounds. Enjoyez.
(D) CRZ's cool and smart? ;-)

Is it any more juvenile than making fun of someone's personal appearance? I mean, really, if you're a fan of someone's writing, does it matter what they look like?

I don't think anyone is going to mistake CRZ for Fabio. That doesn't mean he's not talented at what he does.

(Welcome to the banned list, Slestak!)

I'm really not a Keith lemming. I just don't understand what the point is in this "CRZ vs. Keith" nonsense. I read and enjoy both. I think both are talented at what they do. I don't always agree with both, but hey, my opinions are my own.

I guess the question I always have is:

Why read something or someone that you are inclined to dislike?

If Keith annoys you, why continue to read him? Why give him the press? Bad press is, afterall, better than no press.

But I guess that would be like asking Keith why he lurks here and then says he realy could care less... =)

Short form answer: I'm a tool.

Actually, I only went over there because at the end of RAW Hall looked to be busted open (on the chest) and I was wondering if SKeith would catch it (he didn't) since Chris didn't get it. And I was really really bored.

I suppose I should have known better.
Point taken.

He's still a know-nothing ass, but I 'spose it's my perrog to just not read him.

You shouldn't be ashamed for reading him (or maybe you should?!?! ). Just realize that reading him to BASH him gives the same ultimate effect as reading him because you LIKE reading him.

I should have specified I was looking for HOW it happened. Look for my autobiography "I SHOULD Have", this summer.

Come on Z, youve said yourself, You like people sucking up to you and you want more of it. You posted once that your a mark for your own name. And no I really dont know what goes on in Scott Keiths head, but thats the vibe I get from reading him. I feel like a big man when someone responds to a post or a thread I start. If I was published and had my own site I know Id feel like the hottest shit walking. And so my analysis of Scott Keith comes from the fact if I was him I might feel the same way.

To Travis- No Ive never read the book but someone has. Skeith does have a second book coming out from what he says. And I have no idea what he looks like or anything. But I do know he has followers. Lots of them. And the I dont like thesmarks site either. But still SOMEONE does.

Don't be dissin' the Big Bossman: International Dog Chef angle.

Between that and killing Big Show's dad (Andre), Traylor's matches could have consisted of him fucking his nightstick in the ring and I wouldn't even mind.

About the whole "I hate Scott Keith so much!" "Then don't read him, why do you read something you hate?" thing, I'd just like to throw my 2 cents in.

It seems to me that maybe while reading Scott's rants might be pure torture for some, bashing and making fun of him after doing so is quite a joy for a lot of people. So maybe the true answer for "Don't read him if you don't like him." is "But then I couldn't have so much fun bashing him later!"

....Or something. Ah well, I haven't been posting much lately so one worthless post shouldn't get me banned too quickly.

Jaguar hit upon my reason for even going to the Site Bashing folder.
It's funny because I read and enjoy Scott Keith's rants, recaps, and even his mailbag columns.
I don't read CRZ's recaps.
I love reading people on this board rip into Scott Keith's rants.
I enjoy reading this board, which is full of fans of a recap (CRZ's) that I don't read.

I must be more bi-polar than Rob Van Winkle.
