Reposted on: 21.3.11 1110.49 | The one problem with this choice (and I quite like Harper ... he has principles) is that now it looks like the party merger between the Alliance and the Progressive Conservatives was really a takeover by the Alliance and their leader. If the Liberals can escape the current scandals plaguing them, they may very well pick up many votes which would have otherwise gone to the PCs.
Harper now has a few short months to shift the perception of his party as an opposition to a competent government-in-waiting. I don't think they'll do it this election.

Mostly I lean Liberal or NDP. But I've never liked Paul Martin at all (could be worse could have been Sheila Coops) and I used to like Jack Layton but recently he doesn't seem like a leader I want. Which leaves Stephen Harper of the PC, wow, even in desperate times I don't think I can vote PC.
If Chretien was running, I'd vote for him for the 46th time, better then the choices now. | DrDirt

I think you could remove the country from your statement and it would hold true for most people in the world. I've lost count of the amount of times I've been standing in a booth thinking "Right, which one of these clowns will fuck things up the least."
